Fantastic to read this. Felt like we'd made a fairly major commitment by spending hours on the M6 getting down from Bolton (visiting family) to Villa and whatever it cost to see the game followed by a few more hours back down South home whereas TF (and others) have laid out a lot more in terms of money and time and he still has the faith.

Nice words from Tony, cheers Flyer. Where did this come from btw? We'll grow stronger as a club. Hopefully we can look back on this season for what it is. A minor setback.

It was on the OWS, I never go there but found a link to it.

If we go down, hopefully we get rid of the mercenaries and bring in younger, better talent.
I can see Remy, Cesar, Bosingwa and Granero going, that would be £10-15m in and it should be spent on the likes of Rhodes, Austin or Hooper who would be on half the wages of that lot.

Good news indeed. At its simplest.he just would not say this were it not true. Top man and a much needed boost after the gloom of losing against Villa.

I think you can add Samba to that list and Townsend will return to Spurs.

We do not want those players Flyer ... we will keep them all because we aren't going down and have a excellent squad ... Rhodes Austin and Hooper aren't good enough.

We have a great squad of players at the moment and anyone should be able at last to at least sense the strength we have. We need nothing more now than a bit slice of luck because I state again just taking into account the latest form i.e.: last weekend I feel very confident we would give any team who played last weekend a bloody good match maybe bar Chelsea who looked by far the strongest of the weekend. Lets all hope we just become more determined in two weeks time. No need to discuss the theories of Championship football yet

I think I read somewhere that Samba will be staying next season even if we go down.

I think he gave an open answer to the question, but I would have thought he's want Premier League football and we'll want to cash in. Still..........let's wait and see eh? Not down yet.

If we can stay up I think we'll be a really strong force in the Premiership. Unfortunately I feel it's more likely to be back in the Championship and that is one tough league to get out of.

Not over yet mate! even I think there is another twist in this run-in and thought we were doomed after WHU at home. I'm sitting here in Malaga train station waiting for AVE back to Madrid, very depressed after watching MOTD shame Newcastle can't get dragged into the mix not for the Geordies but for that twat Shearer, great goalscorer but a real knob when it comes to punditry and as for Lily Savage, well enough said. I might try and get over to London for game in April to meet you guys but if not we can try next season in the premiership or the championship if we are all still on this board.

Shared misery, common purpose. A 'come on' like this in writing, from the guys at the helm is nothing short of MASSIVE.

As far as I'm concerned, Tony's group have done all that could be hoped of them to keep us up - and destiny seems to be pointing in the opposite direction right now. How else do you explain the results our rivals are getting from games they're expected to lose?

Is that our owners' fault. 'Course not - and the fact that despite the misery they're still up for making something of our QPR speaks volumes for their quality.

Like most Rs, I'd be there next season come what may. The fact that they will be too just makes the whole thing all the more believable - and inspiring!

    URRRsss!!

Makes great reading after the most disheartening result this season (after such a good start).
Good, also, to hear that focus is still on the core, and new heart, of the club. All credit to Tony and the board. He has, like others, brought a smile to my face (and envy to many other clubs).

Really good to hear TF say those things, but I have to say it does seem like reading between the lines he is more or less accepting that we will go down (of course he isnt saying it but thats the feeling I can see from what he has said). But who can blame him!

Anyway, great comments, and reassures me for the future of our club that he will be around to continue the project.

of course hes saying this if the worst does happened, I think even he realises we are very unlikely to stay up so hes done the best thing possible. I think hes a good man even though he made a terrible mistake with Hughes, I hope he learns from it.

Great Op and real positive message....however, what would we expect him to say?

I have no reason to doubt him but there are those that post here who do; so without being confrontational, I'd like to ask Imaz and Tony's other doubters to explain to us(me mainly) thier concerns?
I dont know enough about TF or his history to have an opinion on him.
What makes you guys say that we should be wary of him ?

Genuine question guys. Would love to know and you'll get no grief from me. I just want to hear the other side of the story.

Even Gimme's last response was a reason to think about it!

    Over to you guys?
