theres a reason terry has always made so many last ditch tackles. its because his positional play is so poor. no-where near the same league as ferdinand and vidic

They were the press asking those questions, that does not mean the fans were. I do not remember West Ham fans booeing Lampard for any other reason, than the fact he was angling for a move. Maybe you could show me proof of this??

Terry is not a talent, as a talent is a top class player. Terry isn't! No back tracking whatsoever

but it wasn't. I couldn't give a flying **** what you think it was, fact is it was a West Ham fan criticising Harry for selling two players and keeping Frank.

Even if it was (which you have no proof of, despite claiming it as fact) what does the opinion of one fan prove? West Ham have more than 1 fan. I'm sure there have been certain sections of your fans that have got on the back of certain players, who have turned out to be top class

I think it was a Q/A with fans.

2 West Ham fans question Redknapps choice of releasing lots of young players and question if Lampard isn't being treated the same, yes that must mean Lampard was hated by every West Ham and we booed him everytime he played.... Gotcha

how about listening to the ****ing thing? That's the proof <doh>. I've also read his autobiography and have many West Ham fans as friends.
not quite sure what that last sentence has to do with any of this, it's beside the point. We're talking about Lampard being booed and leaving West Ham. Not going to respond anymore, you're too thick to communicate with.

are you denying that the majority of west ham fans hate Lampard? If so that's extremely naive.

Bollocks. Chelsea and Mourinho made Lampard who he is today. He was always a good player, but only took the next step up when Mourinho came along. Just as Ronaldo was always a good player but only took the step up when he joined united.

Besides, comparing to Ronaldo is meaningless seeing as he doesn't ribbed by united fans at each and every turn. Lampard is such a great pro but you would not have thought it the way wham fans treat him.

Most players learn the most in there teenage years, and by the time there 17-18 you can usually tell if there going to make it.

Ronaldo learnt alot from us, as we aquired him 4 years earlier than you did Lampard, though he still would have learnt alot more with Sporting Lisbon.

You aquired Lampard at the age of 22, and paid a fair bit of money for him at that time. He was already a quality player, he was just able to shine more with you guys as there were better players around him. You just benifiyed from all the hard work the West Ham academy put in with him.

Though West Hams academy has proved pretty good over the years, producing the likes of Rio, Carrick, Lampard, Defoe, Johnson, Joe Cole among others. It's probably been the best academy in London over the past 15 years

It's completely different. You still hail Ronaldo and is regarded a top player for you lot and he respects that you still give him a good reaction.

West Ham fans always aim abuse at Lamps and always chant against him every time we play them. All he did was run over to where they were and celebrate. It doesn't mean that the West Ham fans who were abusing him in the first place should chuck coins at him!?

Terry didn't do anything until they had a go at him! They started chanting against his mum etc. and he goes over there, waves an imaginary trophy and sticks his arse at them... Tbh I saw that as banter tbh...

As for their fans... they always say that their support is class. They weren't as good as they usually are. They sung their 'blowing bubbles' chant a lot and the 'up your arse' one... Apart from that they chanted about Terry's mum for the whole second half and that was about it...

You do realise he allways celebrates infront of us when he can?

No but the majority didn't hate him when he was 18 like you were suggesting.

Oh yes poor little Terry, completely innocent, if he's such a moral pro, why didn't he leave when the crowd started chucking things at him? instead he just tried to get the W Ham fans to chuck more stuff at him by sticking his arse towards the away fans, like I said theres banter and theres inciting people into wrong doing.

For what it's worth I am kind of neutral on this and as I see it:

Lampard was given stick by west ham fans who claimed he was only in the team cos Harry Redknapp was his Uncle and his dad was a coach. When Redknapp and Lampard senior were sacked he said he'd had enough and wanted to leave. You can hardly blame him... he was 21 ish and was close to his family who'd just been sacked.

He was a rated player but didn't seemed to be rated by west ham fans. He was a very good player when he left west ham but went on to be a fantastic player at chelsea cos he played with great players and against great players.

As for the celebration provoking thing...it's bollocks imo. We slaughter opposition players and then have the cheek to whine when they laugh in our faces when they score...fans from all clubs do it and they are twats. If we can't take it then we shouldn't dish it out.

I'm happy to give terry stick/banter etc. but if he scores against us I'd expect him to celebrate in from of us to get his own back...what's the big deal.

Football is about banter / supporting your team / enjoying the good times and taking the piss ... it aint about violence, racism, hate etc. or about excusing those things. Unfortunately ALL clubs have ****ers that support them, including my beloved spurs and to be honest I have no idea what to do as they won't all **** off and follow rugby instead
