Thanks, must admit I hadn't heard of him and Googled his name but didn't come up with a lot. Time will tell, let's hope Summer sees some even better players than what we already have, coming in.

I said it on the page before :p, was a great first episode. But I have heard BBC don't want to do a new series so don't like it to much :(.

<laugh> I completely missed your comment! They've got to finish this series theres a lot of actors to be payed off if they cancel it surely? Not to mention the fact that i've only seen one episode and already think it's fantastic. Hopefully the ratings will go up sufficiently for it not to be cancelled by the time the series finishes.

2 more episodes and that's it, it's a pilot series atm. But already BBC are saying they have to many dramas on BBC3 so doubt whether they will continue it. Which I think would be stupid.

Me too. I also can't stand Mrs Brown's Boys or Dr. Who, but I suppose you can't entirely blame the BBC when they're just giving the people what they want.

See some umpires in India have been charged with corruption for giving wrong decisions...then get DRS in!! Not unconnected that cheating can occur where there isn't an appeal system. And I bet the Indian Board's decision not to have DRS isn't entirely unconnected with betting syndicates.

I made the mistake or persisting for all of 10 minutes with Mrs Brown's Boys. It was so poor that I absent mindedly checked to see if I was accidentally watching ITV.

I haven't seen more than 5 minutes of Dr Who since about 1972.

Takes all sorts. Don't get all these vampire/zombie things, so I don't watch them....easy. I was reading an article recently which says that most TV viewers and film goers are now in the older age groups (baby boomers and all that) and that more programmes will be aimed at this group. I have to admit I was wondering why all of a sudden television had looked up after years of mediocrity...I love crime stories (especially with subtitles)...never seen so many. Luckily, with so many channels there is something for everyone.

I've only just started watching Mrs Brown Boys and it makes me laugh. Do you know that most of the cast are related to the actor who plays Mrs Brown...his 'daughter' is actually his wife.

I don't watch the tele. Apart from the occasional football game. Athletics if its on. Wimbledon. And then just series like The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, True Blood. I'll occasionally watch a documentary that sounds interesting, or an Idiot Abroad or something. But all these series I generally watch online anyway.
