So to summarise, because the Green Brigade are fannies, then the police are allowed to treat them as they see fit, ignoring all sense of proportion.

What has been said is that there seems to be a bit of a persecution complex within the Green Brigade membership. Warranted or otherwise, it's rather difficult to have sympathy for a group who seem entirely self-serving while using the name of Celtic Football Club as a shield.

 

So the gb can do whatever they wish, ignoring rules and laws and accept no response from authority whether it is Cfc or plod.

The fact I'm not swayed by a few singing ****s waving flags is testament to my pragmatism and conversely illuminates the gullibility you strive towards.

 

I'll nail my colours to the mast here, I loathe the GB, I have no sympathy whatsoever if they did receive some rough treatment from the Rozzers, I hope some of them got brained and had some common sense knocked into their empty heads.

Seconded. Can't really be arsed writing about why i dislike them all over again. No sympathy for folk martyring themselves.

 

I'd disagree that they are entirely self-serving. But regardless, regarding the events on Saturday that's really not the point.

My point is that regardless of who they are, what they've done and whether or not you like them, the police response was utterly ridiculous and should be condemned as such. Instead we've had a 6 page thread filled with how annoying people find the GB. Most of which, it appears to me, constitutes little more than a "they bring it all on themselves" level of argument and imo completely misses the far more important issue of how the police behaved.

 

The rebel songs are **** all to do with Celtic Football Club.

The poppy is not a political symbol as it has no political allegiance.
