Looking at the table this morning, thinking back over the season trying to remember a half dozen decent performances and the memories of all the last minute goals conceded to throw away wins, where the hell did we amass 52 points from? The teams in the mire ten points behind us, must be awful. I've a feeling we might have quite a bit to thank mr Becchio for. Without his 19 goals we'd be in poor shape
I can confirm that Ipswich were indeed awful but now we can claim to be average. We were so far behind until we appointed McCarthy and have dragged ourselves back into contention. I have to say though that you are probably the only team in the division (except Cardiff) who semmingly have nothing to play for.. Unless you have an absolute nightmare and lose all your matches or have an inspired run and win them all. 11th - 23rd separated by 7 points is ridiculous and I can't remember a championship season being so bizarre with so much to play for and such fine margins.
