Roberto Martinez is claiming he "hasn't seen it yet" in regards to the assault on our player...

If that is the case, why did he remove McManaman after 58 mins? Only 13 mins into the 2nd half?

He said he hadn't seen it properly, yet in the next breath said he knows that McManaman just nicked the ball before catching Haidara. How would he 'know' that if he hadn't seen it? And anyway, McManaman only catches the vp all (very, very slightly) after Haidara had redirected it - he was already in full flight with studs up by then. Dirty git. No way you can say it wasn't malicious. I Hope they go down now.

 

I wouldn't blame Haidara if he eventually got back, subbed into the game, got himself a straight red for taking out McManaman's knees, a la Roy Keane.

Wigan were the team I wanted to stay up because I thought (note past tense) they played nice football and I liked Martinez.

However I can't do this any more, not after yesterday.

And I also agree with Joker, I've lost all respect for Martinez.
