I think it's the wrong time to sack NP. He could still take you up this year. He hasn't spend ridiculous amounts of cash and a good squad has been built with some very exciting individuals. There have some amazingly good tonkings of other teams and 4 points taken off us. No-one has a right to promotion. The best 3 teams over the season usually go up.
I like a lot of Hull fans but those plebs who come on here have only ever had one manager poached from them and not four like us - to the best of my knowledge (in my time Little, McGhee, O'Neill and Megson all went). Then again if my team had never won a major English trophy I'd be bitter too

Forget about the fact NP left LCFC then left HCAFC - ultimately he chased the job that offered him the most money - and he got that job. He has failed to deliver what is expected when you get paid to succeed - so he will be sacked. There is nothing else to it. I do agree that a massive reason NP has done ok is down to Walsh's ability to spot talent rather than Nigel's ability to nurture and develop it. If Walsh leaves NP's side, he's ****ed
You've got to get it out of your head that he only left for money. You talk as though he's on a Mancini-like wage. He left because he could see the ambition of a big club, one that he'd loved before being shafted by Milan Mandaric. Honestly, give up with the money thing. It comes across as extremely bitter and the sign of a small club. It's been 15 months FFS.
You do realise Nigel signs players through his knowledge aswell dont you? Players like Jack Hobbs, Tom Cleverley, Danny Drinkwater, Ben Marshall, Matty James ETC. Nigel knew from his time in the England youth set up
AKCJ - you need to get it out of your head about the ambition line - our new owners have plenty of ambition - probably more ambition looking at our respective teams and performances - however they were not paying him as much as LCFC were willing to. SB joined us for our ambition and what we were willing to pay him - its the way of the world AKCJ
