Proschwitz is a far better option that Simpson, although for some reason Simpson has the most assists for us this season, despite being about as useful as a eunuch in a brothel. He hasn't been given a fair crack of the whip this year, lord knows why, but from what I've seen of him he looks fine. People demand results very quickly and when things don't go right, they reach for the panic and overreaction button, kind of like your lot have done with Pearson. You need to give time for things to sort themselves out. I think even Proschwitz himself knew it wasn't going to be easy coming over here and banging in 20 goals; he must be wondering what secret Gedo has (who is incredibly good, I might add...) that he settled in straight away. Aluko and Simpson hit a purple patch which prevented him from getting a run in the side and when we finally needed a goalscorer, Brucey shelled out for Gedo instead of calling on Big Nick. It doesn't mean he's going to be sold in Summer or that he isn't good enough, he's just had inform players in front of him. Actually, contrary to what I just said, Simpson just went 18 games without a goal, but I think that has something to do with this mythical "he holds the ball up really well" spell he has on SB. Everybody else can see he's just plain ****.
If all of these players are supposedly on such high wages, then why did you sign Wood, who is supposedly on 30k per week?

Gallagher and Wellens signed just after we got promoted from league 1. They didnt sign for massive wages they signed to join advance their careers Sven gave them bigger contracts because they earned them.
