I think that's pretty much this thread done then! I can't think of anyone else to mention. Maybe Vergne? He was quieter in the race though.
What did he do? Kimi's race was fantastic. Has to be him. A mention for Bianchi and a very accomplished debut
I think Vergne is often overlooked. I don't see Ricciardo "destroying" him, or whatever he's supposed to have said.
Hard to judge either driver as its not clear just how good they are, or how good the car is. We've got nothing to measure them against other than themselves, which as they were pretty much both rookies last year gives no further clue! Don't think either were good enough however in Aus to better Kimi, Bianchi etc
Yeah, I think you're right but Daniel gets a lot of love on here and I wonder how much of it is down to his sunny Aussie media-friendly manner. Vergne seems much more low-profile, at least in the British media, so I think that's one reason why he's overlooked; and when he does have a good race he gets overlooked because he's not one of the drivers people have warmed to.
Has to be Kimi... Sod the fitness, let's pile on a few pounds, have a smoke, sup some booze and win a race. What a guy!
Well, when you put it like that..! I thought he put in a good performance over the course of the weekend; I'd be interested to see the Autosport ratings for the race weekend. As for the Toro Rosso 'hunger games' 2013, I can't see either driver really "destroying" the other but we'll see...
Kimi winning I guess, or maybe Sutil? or even Bianchi for a great debut (2 seconds faster than Chilton), not Alonso, as, once again, he had to rely on his team rather than himself to get past Massa, I wonder how many times that will happen this season, maybe we should poll that.
