    I'm gobsmacked.

Surely the FA should step in and investigate this game fully?

.... It's the FA so probably not....

    Gutted... Completely gutted.

There won't be, because nobody dares criticize the heroic Halsey. I'm happy he's overcome his illness but evidently he shouldn't be refereeing anymore.

Cisse, Tiote and Sissoko had poor games IMHO.

I've said before, How can a ref be allowed to ref a game when he lives less than 13 miles away

I mean that's closer than what Consett is to the Toon

To be fair to Sissoko, he's played pretty much every minute since he arrived. Time to rest him for the Mackems.

Shocking refereering in both Sunderland and Newcastle games. We were robbed of a point today.

Probably 3 if you assume we should have beaten 10 men.

I don't see why ref's performances aren't publicly investigated after every match to be honest? It's hardly transparent as a system for the people who have control of a game's fate to be free from critique, and it hardly encourages better performances either.

Don't think this was even the worse refereeing performance of the season, maybe not even of the weekend, and I don't want to let our team off a lot of collective individual failure though, or Pardew for putting out a team which was so leggy. But yes, disgusting performance from the ref.

    Halsey had a mare.
    Missed McManaman red card,
Perch should of got 2 yellows,
misses a pen for Wigan with Taylor doing a goalkeeping job on Kone.
    Handball for the winner.

Even if the ref missed the hand ball what about the assistant facing the player hand balling it!!!!!!!! Same goes for that absolute shocker of a tackle which was far worse than Peinars yesterday.

Two of the worst refereeing displays I've seen. You could increased your lead on Sunderland by three more points today. But instead they close the gap on you by one point. A four point swing on the officials alone. Also means Sunderland sneak above us on goal difference..****ing disgraceful

Taylor did exactly what a keeper would of down i.e. made himself big in front of the striker and his hand put it wide, stonewaller.
