can't see us recovering from this weeks results...so poor especially after how well we had been playing. Goons got a game in hand and only 4 behind...can't see us making CL football next season
What's disappointing is the fact that I now know I will be disappointed yet again at the end of this season.
Sadly spurm I think we're going to. This is just horrific. Everything we're seeing is a knock on affect from not having good enough strikers to get a top 4 place. Both have 1 goal between them this calendar year. - That is unaccetable and not worthy of a top 4 finish. So as a result, our left winger has had to go up front to save our bacon. He's done well, but he can't carry us forever. - and now it's starting to show. As a result of that, we've lost shape and a large % of our attacking threat, which is even more apparent with Lennon out aswell. We have to be winning home games like this, but we're clueless. We've finally been found out and our distinct lack of quality in other areas has made it very difficult to change things up effectively. I have a feeling our end of season capitulation has begun again.
What a dire performance. Played ****, lost, got various injuries and everyone around us won. Villas-Boas needs to sort out his recent team selections as he's done exactly what Redknapp did last season and changed everything because of one absence. Crazy.
At least we've been less good in the first 25 games - we don't have to watch as a 10 point lead disappears down the drain - this time it's only 4! Spurs - helping you witness depressing things since ever.

AVB has had his fair share of luck this season. Bale got us out of jail several times. We scraped a few good results. Really dodgy tactics of late. Think that well has just dried up. Hmm.....
Perhaps the AVB supporters will now understand the very grave reservations that many of us felt over his appointment, especially as his team selections at Chavs were so completely dire, at times.
****, ****, ****, ****, ****. We've lost all advantage in the scrap for 4th now. Credit to Fulham they played well and Schwarzer made a couple of great saves to keep them ahead.
Not good at all. No urgency, no heart, no passion. Highlights our squad deficiencies, but these have been apparent all season. Need to forget this patch and move on very quickly. Defoe and Ade, just not good enough. Parker - an average back up to the excellent Sandro. What a loss that has been.
Notwithstanding our poor performance, isn't the ref supposed to add on time for substitutions - I thought it was a "minimum of" X minutes when the board goes up. He played about two seconds over!
