Come on lads (and any girls). Let's get behind the team. Fans on here were moaning and it was all doom and gloom after the away games against Cardiff and palace. And after winning most games since fans were all behind the club. One loss since and you guys are back thinking we are going down.

Keep the faith. I know the other teams in the bottom 3 all won apart from us but the teams above that all lost which are the teams we need to catch up. We are only 3 wins still off mid table so its not over yet

Thats forums for you win a couple at the start of the season and it gets giddy with talk of plays off now lose one now and "thats it, its over, city are dead", giddy again.

Home form is immaculate under Sean O'driscoll. Team is damn sight better than it was under Mcinnes. Lads yesterday in vans and coaches scores in for the sip at the next one. Thats the sketch as Mr O'driscoll says keep supporting your local team.

That all said 3 Lions, the fact remains we are now in a desperate situation and competing against teams that are winning games.
Wolves were there for the taking yesterday and we should have been 2 up at half time.
The teams that win those games will stay up, and the losers will go down.

Simple yet brutal, that is the nature of the beast called footy.
Yes, we will all keep supporting up to and beyond where mathematics takes over, but facing facts we are in a bit of a hole now

City lost a game and you can read on here attack attack attack, stick two up front etc. Mcinnes did panic panic panic. The season is 46 games not one at molineux or pride park.

Earler in the season we could go and watch a team that was in danger of conceded fours in fives in one half. Expectation was each week it was going to be a defeat with the team collapsing. there is now something there. Half decent yesterday for one half starving the opponents of the ball. I didnt think city were capable of possession football. Do that again and city become the team that will win those games more often.

Haha I am taking names here, because if we don't beat the drop, I'll be reeling off the names of the fans to see if you are still whistling and cherpy and whether you will be renewing your season tickets if you have them!

I would renew my season ticket tomorrow not that is really a sign of anything. last home a good forty met up for the sip. last home game it will be a hundred or hundreds if its down to the last ninety minutes. Lads are talking about next season. Only downside at the moment is Charlton away is 12.45 KO and a lot of boys wont do a half day in London. Seen enough to see things point upwards rather than down. Couldn't fill a van with Mcinnes.

I will definetly be buying my season ticket next year and probably be doing 5 away trips, why? Because whatever league your in you still have the buzz of going to the match.
I will moan next year but next year my expectation's will be higher as I always felt apart from the first year in the Championship we have been the small fish in a big pond. I don't buy this if we build a nice new stadium the fans will return, because where were they when the club really needed them. No I'm not saying I'm more of a fan than the ones that can't afford to go, but the ones that only turn up when things are going good and sing "city till I die" then walk out and say I'm not going till he's gone bollocks are not true supporters in MY opinion.

I will be purchasing another season ticket next season regardless of form, or league status. I wouldn't buy one for the Atyeo, Dolman or Williams. Nothing to do with whistling and chirpy, it is to do with the experience. Still enjoy it Ashton Gate. The Eastend remains an antidote to the sanitised days out on the road.

A drop down is hardly a test as I was attending more regularly in 1982 than I do now. Age and responsibilties have more of an impact on my attendance.

I simply cant believe the **** that SOD spouted after the Wolves game. Is he Millen in disguise maybe ??

'I'm satisfied with the attitude and performance' he said Really, you're sure you are satisfied ?????? Cuz the fans aren't after letting a 1-0 lead slip away...........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's laid back and doesn't rant and rave, so fair enough, but this isn't the time for being laid back or trying to defend a lead when we have the worst defence in the league. FFS man get a grip, we threw away a gift yesterday and if we go down by 1 or 2 points, I'll remember the negative attitude at Molyneux

Message to all posters no matter what your opinion is on the game vs Wolves or decisions made by SOD we are in deep trouble and our competitors for the drop are doing their part to survive. Despite good home results since Sean arrived we can't win anything on the road, again whilst our fellow strugglers are doing the business.

Trying to hide behind rhetorical situations doesn't take away the fact that we are in deep doodoo and the fat lady is tuning up. We need wins and nothing else whilst hoping that the others slip up and just in case you haven't noticed, they are not.

It's the "well if we had won the game" rhetorical stuff coming from some fans I dont understand. The simple fact is, we didn't win, and didn't really deserve to be 1-0 up either. Why have Peterborough got better WITHOUT Boyd? He for me, is one of the best players in the league, how have they got better and picked up results WITHOUT him!?! BASTARDS!

Answer, because they are going for it, no holds barred so they either win or lose as they understand that draws are NO GOOD and whatever else, they have always had goalscorers.

Now we at AG are well aware that the last 4 years have produced a continually worsening standard of football to the extent of the players having to be told what to do to perform so a complete and total revamp will be required over the summer - in the meantime, surely to goodness, we can manage to field a team that has a coherent enough game to provide a decent attacking threat away from home.

If not, we might as well pack our bags now....

We have 8 games left to try and save ourselves and if nothing else, the MINIMUM requirement is that every player wearing a red shirt comes off that pitch having run themselves into a state of total exhaustion having attacked and defended as a team - ANYTHING LESS IS UNACCEPTABLE

Those players need to remember they are playing for their careers in pro football
Its a cold hard world out there, and none of them are too good for Tesco

City may be relegated, but it will be because of the lack of ability of Derek Mcinnes. Bi polar these forums, posters here were backing the abject and out of his depth Mcinnes. Now with their man not in charge they get reactionary.

Its gone from hopeless with McInnes to hopefull under O'driscoll. I see no reason to slag off off Sean O'driscoll for a significant improvement, or doubt his coaching acumen and call for a change in tactics.

The goalposts keep moving and thats making it hard. 52 points for safety? Probably going to be more like 55 points now. It is still in our hands. Win the home games and nick a few away - I think that is what SoD is thinking. Fill the Gate.

Always disliked the plastic "believe" thing. Too much sing the song once and as soon as it gets a bit choppy moan like a bastard. Much prefer the have an extra pint, get out earlier to the party zone, buy a flag with the pub for the ground, hire a coach, get in the van natch in hand. So shall be doing some of that, don't expect loans A,B,C yet more spending.

Hail the O'driscoll door bolt machine.

We can all admit the current style of football isnt the best on teh eyes and yes SOD comes out with some odd words before and after games but he is in charge of the team and they are picking up points. he was asked to get 30 points from 20 games which he is currently doing.
All teams want to play nice football but look at Bolton who got rid of big Sam and then went down. Wolves got rid of Mick and went down as fans didnt like their style of football. sometimes you have to play a way to get results now i do agree that at wolves in teh second half he shoud have had a plan B when things were turning against us but he clearly felt that the team out there could still get a goal.

As for the question about Peterborough doing well, they did loan a few players in for Man Utd which I guess helps.

Now we are 4 points from safety but once you get out of the bottom 3 there arent many points above those teams. THERE are two wins that sperate 11th and 21st so a few wins and who knows where we will be, just keep the faith
