With Puffin seemingly headed for the Supreme is it already a 2 horse race? I hope not but Needles and Nicholls don't appear to have top notchers although they could easily have something up their sleeves.
Agree. Far too early to give up on The New One. He showed a decent turn of foot after they turned in and was simply outstayed. The winner is a good tool but perhaps interesting that AP was rather circumspect in his praise.
Has Sherwood changed his target then Bob. I heard from reliable sources a couple of weeks ago that he was Neptune bound!
I dont know if AP was "bigging himself up" Dex but his first post race comment was "sometimes the best horse doesnt win the race"

just the trainer talking about puffin billy. basically will be entered for both races and he will decide nearer to the time as possible. But if it was soft he would definitely go for the supreme.
I hope he goes for the Neptune personally. Agree about the New One I actually think he ran a big race on ground that he hated.

Well in the melee of Cheltenham you would have missed the irony. People on here telling me The New One wouldnt win. Beaten by an out and out stayer in a little race at Cheltenham. Well there you have it! As predicted they both went on to win. And Drever there was enough back-slapping going on here all week so I think I am at liberty to do the same.......if not.......what the ****........see if I care!
