I'm afraid after yesterday I can't regard anything as good times right now, but it does mean we got away with it somewhat.
Strov, cheer up you miserable bugger As for the gulls, spread the love http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/201716-Seagulls-dropping-bombs-on-ollie?p=4445983#post4445983
I didn't realise Brian Horton was a key part of the Brighton/Palace rivalry. It's no surprise that Palace gamesmanship and boring tactics are also at the root. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/football-league-blog/2011/sep/27/brighton-crystal-palace-rivalry Palace's Barry Silkman fouled Chris Cattlin in the area and Brighton were awarded a penalty, which the future Manchester City manager, Brian Horton, converted. The referee, however, made him retake the kick because of encroachment — even though everybody agreed that the only players to have done any encroaching had been wearing Palace colours. This time Paul Hammond saved it. The game ended 1-0.
Oh what could have been, 5 points clear.. Honestly who would of thought, all city palace watford and lester lose in the same weekend.. If city dont finish second now..
You are in the same position as us now, you have a lead in second with only 8 games to go. We only have to match Watford and Palace for results now to seal promotion. Despite losing yesterday you are actually in a better position as you ran another game down without the gap closing. If we can do it then we will certainly be hoping you do it too. jck
