it looks like you lot have a lot of rebuilding after losing cody and co .i would of liked to have seen cody at our place but i think he is destined to go to a bigger club than wycombe
Anyone know of any good places to obtain old Gills shirts? I'm after one of the Zanussi sponsored shirts ( home or away ) as this was the first kit I saw the Gills playing in. I've looked on ClassicFootballshirts .co.uk but the only one they've got is over ã100...
OMG, will Gills have any players next season? Blue, could you order your old 'must keep list' please, I guess Cody was No. 1
1. Barcham - my favourite player...gone 2. Cody - 2nd because I only hoped he would stay - gone 3. J Payne - future potential 4. Bayo - although concerns re Hessy's tactics - going/staying? 5. Lawrence - purely experience Not looking good eh mate!
Millens - that's all we had 5 players, we haven't even got that now! Kentish Man - what's your thoughts on the young lad, Luke Rooney? Also has pace, which is what Hessy said he is looking for. Seems ok to me, although seems to not be liked by some Gills fans.
Luke Rooney, can be very good and strikes the ball well with any site of goal, needs some work on his decision making. Good evening and mines a pint.
Kentish Man... please log in to view this image Hessy, I agree either needs to make him a battler, although physically I don't think that will happen, so he needs to play more deadly balls, instead of running in to a brick wall - although in fairness he used to have more shots on target than Cody per game %, as I understand it?
we are never going to get anywhere if we only offer 1 or 2 year contracts and have to change team every year.
Unfortunately thats the way the lower leagues have to do business now. We can't be stuck with a useless striker signed on a 3 year deal on loads of money, who ends up injured/turns out crap... mmm who would I be thinking off there?? Also for a lot of BSQ Prem sides 1 year contracts are the norm, so end up rebuilding every season..
The barmen has gone awol so I've got them in, help yourself. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
