    Hi everyone,

Tell me to f**k off if you want, but I would actually like to engage in some football discussion.

Seen a few Hull City forums and noticed a bit of negativity from some fans

Yesterday was a brilliant end to end game, great atmosphere, chances for both teams - way more for Hull. But even after you dominated the 1st half, I actually thought we were a bit unlucky to concede right towards the end. Forest came out stronger in the 2nd half so probably 3-3 would have been a fairer result!!

The thing is Forest are just playing with no fear at the moment and a couple of months ago most fans were extremely apathetic as we'd just appointed Alex Mcleish. Now with Billy Davies back (1 D, 6 W) there's a lot of confidence in the team. However I still think 2nd spot is going to be very hard - it will be either Hull, Watford or Crystal Palace.

There's nothing really for Hull fans to be negative about - it wasn't a poor performance yesterday. Even at 1-2, I was thinking - a draw would still be good and how many times do you see 2 goal line clearances in the last 5 mins!!

It will be interesting to know whether you think you will still make 2nd place?

Also, could someone tell me what the "we are not criminals" banner was all about?

You're more than welcome to post on here, if you're wanting to chat about football it would be unreasonable to tell you to **** off. Unlucky result yesterday and we paid for not taking our chances. We played poorly on Monday and won and played better yesterday and lost, that's football. Forest are on a terrific run of form at the moment and look like they'll be that team that moves from midtable in February into the top 6. I'm not too disheartened after losing yesterday, apart from Cardiff no one can really string any consistency together over the season and the race for 2nd spot will go to the wire. I still think we can finish in 2nd spot, neither us, Watford or Palace are really taking command of it and it is still open for anyone who wants to take it. Watford aside, we have a decent run in but you can't take anything for granted in this league. As for Forest, they're looking good for the top 6 and if they keep winning games then who knows? I think play offs are more likely though and after been midtable only 3 weeks ago I'm guessing you guys would be happy with that?

The 'where not Criminals' banner is up because we play Huddersfield away in our next game and West Yorshire Police have band our fans from travelling to the game unless we go with Tiger Travel (the official club transport). We've also been given just half the allocation other clubs get for there away end. Nothing really in it yesterday, a draw would have been a fair result but not gonna dwell on it, we have Watford at home in two weeks time, huge game!!! Im still confident of Promotion.

It was to West Yorkshire Police for only giving us 1,700 tickets for the Udders game and having it as a bubble match!

Aaah so thats what the criminals banner was all about - 100% supportive of that. I mean yesterday we had over 3000 fans there and it was a great atmosphere. There would probably be 1 or 2 who had a bit too much to drink and spoilt it for the majority BUT it's ridiculous that you can't take as many fans as possible to a Yorkshire Derby. Sometimes I think fans of football clubs are treated very poorly - we're the ones that turn up week in, week out and it sometimes feels like you are treated with contempt.

After the horrible month under Mcleish and where we were a month ago, even the play-offs seemed too much. Would be very happy with play-offs BUT Forest simply can't get past the semi-finals. In 10 years, they've been knocked out of the semi's - 2003 - Sheffield United, 2007 - Yeovil Town (League One), 2010 - Blackpool, 2011 - Swansea. So, you can see why most forest fans want us to push for automatic!!

I still think Auto's will be out of your reach simply because one of the three main contenders for second (us Watford and Palace) will not drop enough points for you to make up the gap, thats not to say you wont keep winning i just think most other teams above you will keep you at arms length with good results of there own.

Forest played well yesterday, but so did we and a draw would have been a fairer result but that's how it is. I just think you got away with too much early on and a ref with a little more bottle would have started showing yellow cards earlier. You might well have had a player sent off. Your 18 fouls and 5 yellows are testament to that. One of your fans in the prematch forum accused us of being dirty. Still hope you stay in a play=off position provided we still get 2nd at least.

The 'campaign' needs National exposure. Our 'local' media are tied to the plod through the funny handshake brigade and are hopeless so any exposure on your board will be appreciated. This is a civil liberties issue but the media don't seem/don't want to acknowledge the fact. They are too busy building up non-stories about long entry queues at the stadium and removing pictures of legends from rugby teams who nobody knows.

I believe the FSF are sponsoring a legal action. Can you imagine having restricted travel arrangements for a game at Derby or Leicester for instance? Your team could be next.

This is not about Hull City vs Huddersfield Town, it is now about the freedom of football fans to travel! I expect 200 - 300 fans to travel as a result. And the irony is that if what WYP are proposing came fully to fruition, there is no way in this world that they could cope with more than 70 coaches arriving simultaneouslyfor they match. Of course, ultimately, 4000 fans could travel to Huddersfield independently and watch the game at a pub in Huddersfield city centre!

As an addendum to this ridiculously concocted WYP sham, yesterday, one of our rugby teams played a game at the same huddersfield stadium at the same time as it was moved for television. There was no West Yorkshire Police 'bubble' for this game, even though some of the 1000 or so fans who attended would have been the same fans who might have attended the football game in a couple of weeks.

Please put a supportive thread on your board to explain whathis is really about. The issue needs to be viral!

Fair play to cheekyforest who summed up yesterday perfectly.

Whether Forest can go up automatically might be pushing it, but I wouldn't fancy playing against them in the play offs.

Last thing to any Forest fans reading this thread - the most important bit is what mussie said. Forest fans and anyone else will be next if Plod get their way on restricting our freedom of movement, which doesn't seem in doubt the way things stand right now.

I'll try and spread the word about your campaign - It's an unbelieveable decision. The majority of football fans want to go to a game, have a laugh, have some banter. I've been to lots of away games and spoke to the opposition fans at the end of the game. Like you say - WE ARE NOT CRIMINALS :)

Due respect to cheekyforest sounds a decent person but to those more feral Forest fans with their deluded beliefs about us being antifootball etc,. dont deserve Premier League etc i am sorrywe did not win,but we will still get there this season because we deserve it.

I think a lot of Forest fans feel we should be in the Premier League by divine right!! Sometimes when you look at our history it makes it harder to accept that we're not in the top flight. BUT it's been 14 years since we were last there and I think a lot of neutral's want to see Forest in the Premier League because we've got a fantastic ground, great fans and there is a rich nostalgia to the club. However you have to earn your place and if Hull finish 2nd and go up then you will deserve to be there - simple :)

IMO I thought we where the better side. Forest are a decent side and full of confidence, but they came to make it hard for us and where very negative. If we'd of taken our chances and had a bit of look we'd of won easerly

In the past you were up there most of the season, this season is different you are the form team coming into the play offs. In the past teams that came from out of the pack usually do well in the play offs.

apart from a purple patch of around the mid to late 70s/80s, i remember forest's history being pretty much the same as ours in the 60s and 70s, i.e. a perenial mid second division side with the likes of us, huddersfield, bristol city, milwall and coventry for instance.
