    No, he has all the qualities of a deadly striker. Strength, pace, work rate, ability to link up well with players, he just needs time in a lower league to get his feet sorted out infront of goal.

    Look what a season in the CC did for Carroll!

    He needs to go to a team with passion and good manager, that's why i think Huddersfield, if they get promoted, would be the right club for Ranger and Airey. Clarkey is a top bloke and should be able to help shape up Ranger and also give Airey some game time.

    Ranger didn't win the wor Jacky award for nothing, and he's scored 6 in 12 for the England U21's <ok>

    Want him to go out on loan, preferably to a Championship/SPL team. 6 month loan deal with a emergency clause to bring him back if needed. <ok>
