We may be "Bottling" it right now but at least we didnt turn our back on our clubs heritage and history
Well I think we're out of the autos race now but hopefully we can see the period after the internationals as a fresh start. The play-offs are all about form. Forest have hit form a bit early and the two clubs that miss out on automatic late on (Hull and either Watford or Palace) will feel a bit deflated. If we hit some form in the last eight games, we could be favourites. If we don't, well, we might not even make the play-offs.
1 Cardiff 37 22 75 2 Hull 38 10 68 7 points and a game in hand from 2nd. 6 Leicester 38 25 59 16 points and a game in hand with only 8 games to play.... so far ahead might get a nose bleed. Mind the gap.
Weren't you something like 12 points clear at one stage? If Palace win tomorrow as expected they'll also be seven points behind, which can be overturned in three games. There's eight left. Still plenty of time left to bottle it in the time-honoured Cardiff tradition.
If a man lives for curiosity he will venture beyond the means of reason. Alex ferguson said that if you believe that you will get promoted from the championship in 12/13 season. true fact.
surprised Cardiff fans are wumming Leicester fans - are you not like brothers now that you are both owned by dog eaters?
Expectation or hope on your part? I fully expect, not hope, Brighton to finish in the top six, especially the way Leicester are playing at the moment. Brighton NEED to win tomorrow, and probably will, to go level on points with you, Brighton are very good at home, Palace are garbage away, it ain't rocket science!
A draw would be the best result for us, just like I wanted Hull to draw today. The more points that go into the ether the better for us. But I would prefer a Palace win to a Brighton win. Although, quite honestly, we can't rely on others. Hull and Watford going down today was the perfect opportunity for us to make up some ground and we didn't. No-one with the exception of Cardiff (and I'm not convinced about them) seems good enough for the Prem. I wouldn't want us to go up if we're not ready. I'd rather go up next season convincingly and replace one of the teams that go up this season, who will no doubt do a Wolves the season after.
Had it not been for this run we would in in 2nd now. Both Watford and Hull keep winning 1 and losing 1 Poor defeats to Peterborough, Charlton, Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and Ipswich have cost us He dropped 2 points at Blackpool with Chris Wood missing the peno and we dropped 2 points against Cardiff with that late goal
.. no bitterness here .. but it must come as a relief for you to at last pass on the mantle and get the money back on your empties .. must be a 'tidy' sum ...
Actually thinking about what the Best play-off Final would be I am not that fussed about it. But either seeing a Leicester v. Nottingham Forest OR Brighton v. Crystal Palace one does sound entertaining to me.
