I'm currently winding up some of the daft QPR fans on their forum, feel free to join me. It feels so good after seeing Satchel face do his bellend celebration at St Mary's afew weeks ago.
Great performance by the whole team today, all of them but would prob give MOTM to young Luke Shaw as this lad is dynamite - some great runs when attacking today. I have seen some top games between Saints & Liverpool over the years and we often seem to get the better of them - today was another of these games. If our finishing had been more ruthless first half we could have been 3 or 4 goals in front of Liverpool by half time ! Well played you Saints - bring on Chelski !!
I'd rather bask in the glory of a fantastic saints performance and win. The day we are safe and QPR are relegated is the day to wind up the QPR fans if that's the type of thing that you enjoy doing.
Fair play to Southampton. Your players wanted to win more than ours. We were setup all wrong for the game and got outnumbered and outplayed in the middle of the park. Our whole club needs a change of attitude when it comes to away games against bottom half of the table teams, because too often we go into these games thinking we'll win by X amount and we end up losing and playing really poorly because our players just don't match the effort of the opposition team. We let the other team start on the front foot and the crowd gets behind their team and we just crumble. Shouldn't take anything away from Southampton though, Lallana was really good for you (possible England call up?) and Lambert gave our back four a torrid time with his strength and movement (so did your whole front 4 in fairness). Thought your right back Nathaniel Clyne looked really good too. You were deserving winners, and unlucky to not win by a couple more goals, and I hope you stay up because the league is much more exciting and better off with a club like Southampton in it.
Isn't this great weekend? I can enjoy the next couple of days and even look forward to the Internationals....I hope Gerrard plays better though
So you sit here and moan about how crap Saints are all day, and then when they win you're the first to rub in other people's faces?
Thanks I doubt there are many football fans around who wouldn't have raised on eyebrow when looking at your teamsheet. Allen for Lucas always looked a very, very strange decision. Rarely has a PL manager got in so plainly wrong before.
Just been reading the match report and Brendon Rodgers says his team only got going once they were 2-0 down. I wonder if Hansen trots out one particular quote tonight from his old Liverpool playing days, which goes... As Bob Paisley always used to say, start quick and you can always slow down. Start slow and it's very difficult to speed up. Always remember him saying that when Saints thrashed Spurs 4-0 in the FA Cup. I'll wait for it this evening.
It is a bit of a twisted attitude, isn't it..? EDIT: Besides, if trouble occurs on this forum from QPR fans, I'll know the reason why.
I don't want to wind up QPR fans...I just want them relegated...them or 3 others who are not Saints, I don't care. However, it is joyous to see Harry all shifty on the tv.
