The possible alternatives to Chelsea's possible fixture pile-up are discussed here. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/mar/11/chelsea-fixture-pile-up?CMP=twt_gu As I've said though, I do think it would be harsh by the FA to make Chelsea play on a Mon or Tues before a European game. Still convinced it's our game which gets postponed if Chelsea get through this week.
Chelsea shouldn't grumble...nice position to be in. They shouldn't have fought back for a draw in the Cup I think they should play a second string against Southampton...we won't mind if it helps
OK so a massive weekend at the bottom. Will it be Villa or QPR celebrating at around 5pm tomorrow? I'm hoping for a draw. Elsewhere Reading travel to Man U in the 5.30 kick off and on Sunday Sunderland have to get something at home to Norwich. West Ham travel to Chelski. In league 1 a couple of our loanees face off with the Cherries playing Oldham. Seaborne v Barnard.
Everton drop captain Phil Neville and striker Nikica Jelavic to the bench following last Saturday's home humiliation against Wigan in the FA Cup so Darron Gibson and Victor Anichebe start. Goalkeeper Tim Howard is out with a back injury - Jan Mucha continues to deputise. Manchester City will be missing key man Yaya Toure, who is suffering with a migraine. Samir Nasri is left on the bench, so James Milner and Javi Garcia come into the midfield. England goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was rested for the 5-0 FA Cup win over Barnsley, returns and the fourth change sees Matija Nastasic come in to the defence. Suppose we want a City win to ensure United smash Reading!
Villa now have Agbonlahor, Weimann and Benteke all in form and having match winners in your side like that you've always got a good chance. Glad we got them out the way. I see that the Spurs boys Jenas and Townsend both scored for QPR. It was a good window for Harry and QPR, but hopefully it all just came together too late. I hope Man Utd don't take it easy on Reading now that Man City have ****ed it up again, there is no pressure on them to win at all.
Don't know what we are worrying about, feel sorry for the supporters of the clubs at the bottom of League 2. Now that is a relegation scrap! please log in to view this image
I almost never give star players the benefit of the doubt with the speculative ones unless they're called Matt Le Tissier.
