We have won 4 while drawing 2 and losing 1 however the last one we lost was in our last away game against Morecambe which was last season. Current league table As of 14.03.13 Gillingham sit 1st in League 2 after 37 games with 70 points they are 5 points clear of second placed Burton Albion who have 65 points however they have played 1 more game than Gillingham as they are on 38 games. Morecambe sit 13th in the table with not much to play for as after 38 games they have 50 points which you would see as a point total to keep them up but they are 10 points off the play offs so I doubt they will be able to rise enough to finish in the play offs. HOADIEâS View on this match I think that every game will be hard now and we may not pick up to many more away points but I am hoping for 3 in this game towards promotion. 3 points and another clean sheet. The Gills at Morecambe can take probably one of the biggest steps this season towards securing auto promotion. Ideal results imo would be for us to bring back the three points and for Cheltenham v Rotherham to end in a draw. Obviously eyes will also be focusing on Northampton at Wycombe. Personally I'm trying to forget what Port Vale and Burton are doing and concentrating on opening that gap between us and the play offs. Tomorrow is a vital opportunity to make life easy for ourselves.
Cheltenham v Rotherham you would expect to end in a draw. On current form I would expect Wycombe to beat Northampton. Bradford are 'away draw specialists' (8) & could easily take a point at Exeter. That would leave teams in 4th,5th & 6th with 62 points. IF we can take all 3 points today it would put us 11 clear of the play off places with a game in hand over 3 of those clubs. ( + goal difference ). You never know - we might have promotion virtually mathematically certain by the end of our game v Accrington next Saturday.
Didn't really want to see anyone else getting games called off as that is not good for us. Hopefully they play that soon.
To be honest Hoadie, I'm not to fussed about games in hand including our own. I just concentrate on points on the table. Also every cancellation causes its own problems to the teams affected. It just means extra games in less days, hence us and Rochdale as an example. Something we could have done without having three away games on the bounce. I dread it every time a fixture is postponed for us.
I wonder if Gregory is injured as he has done well and ain't on the bench. No Birchall on the bench either, Anton Robinson being dropped is a bit mad but then again Richardson has been waiting a while. East out and Whelpdale in and Burton out and Kedwell in is a no brainer.

Morecambe 1-1 Gillingham good draw considering Burton drew and Rotherham lost, we remain 4 points clear of Port Vale who are now second again. Next game against Rochdale who are playing awful so we should win that, also that is our game in hand if I am correct.
