I didn't even do anything! A couple of them were banging on about how they've got a wonderful history and how they've always played great football, so I pointed out that "there's more to being a football fan than sitting around ****ing over dead managers and trophies won a generation ago" I think that was a fair comment
As a Leicester fan I agree with that 100% Erik - only needed to mention empty pink seats and the last time they were any good television was in black and white to finally hit home to them. I know some of our fans got a bit 'billy big bollocks' in the past but Forest fans make me howl with laughter.
Their nothing more than a slightly above average team on a good run of form. Winning 5 on the bounce in this division is no easy task but their run of fixtures was about as kind as it could be, they've had a fair bit of luck in some of the games as well. To their credit it looks like they'll be bringing a decent away following, unfortunately for them Saturday will be a reality check.
They have the typical arrogance of a team who having just appointed a complete prat (would use a stronger word - but don't know what the strongest insult you can use without getting banned) who as said on another thread could start an argument by himself in the middle of the North Sea. I know I wouldn't. It's incredibly sad that they spend all of their time fiddling with themselves whilst thinking about 'Cloughie'. They're completely delusional. They reckon that they play amazing football and that it's always been the Forest way, when it's clearly not. They've been **** for decades. I went to a couple of Forest matches as a neutral back when they were in League One, including an away game on a Tuesday night. They got thumped, played hoofball and their supporters, whilst decent enough in number, sat on their collective arse all game in almost total silence, with the only noise being made the occasional grumble about how 'Cloughie would never have stood for this'. DELUDED
Anyway Just GET BEHIND THE LADS TOMORROW, on the rare occasions the crowd does get behind the team the atmosphere can be great, come on city
