For those of you who were on 606..

'Dannythecanary' (founder of the CPL) wanted me to let you all know he is still alive, couldn't persuade him to join not606 as his work commitments are too great at the moment. He sends his regards to you all who made 606 so enjoyable and memorable for him. OTBC

 

Like many others on here Billy, I was on the old BBC606 for a long time but I have to say I don't remember danny ?

 

I remember eck ie Essex canary king running it, like kio I don't remember Danny but did he run it before eck

 

Yeah he handed it over to ECK after a while. He set it up as ncfc-Danny-otbc

 

I always wondered where weaver went. He was a big poster when I first joined.

 

Wallybrain was an old BBC606er who I have not seen on here which is a great shame! BlackRat is another who I enjoyed some great banter with. I get the feeling that these boards are losing their appeal for an increasing number. I can't think why!

What about Mattias 123 - he was on the old 606 quite a bit.

Used to enjoy Weaver's and Wally's postings - and Black Rat too for that matter.

 

I miss Wallybrain too Warky, another who conversed in verse.

 

Billy - I remember Danny, very sporadically on 606, send him my best if you´re in touch with him, can you.

 

Yes I will let him know. I couldn't persuade him to make an account but he asked me to post this thread for him, seemed to have some fond memories when I spoke to him earlier.
