It should have been straight-forward enough really, but a couple of issues presented themselves. Firstly, I questioned the qualifications of the gentleman who was due to do my 'work'. I suggested that if he was a fully qualified Dentist, why did he still have the word 'Practice' above the door? No way is somebody practice-ing on me! Once he pointed out his certificates on the wall, I was re-assured and sat down. He already had his brand new 'scraper' in his hand as I entered the room, although nobody can blame me for questioning his qualifications before I let him put his glistening tool in my mouth...
