Eh? Since when? Are you having me on or something... It would seem because Michael has left that the easiest thing to do would be to mock them, but I haven't. My reactions to issues and events at Mercedes have been just the same as everybody else Chris. Stop letting the paranoia get the better of you mate. I may be an easy target to choose from but trust me, I have nothing against Mercedes. I don't hate them, I don't support them either. If you have some clear quotes of what I have written, and feel they are "mocking Mercedes" please present them on here. - Also show why they are any worse than what somebody else has posted please.
Think Lotus will be dark horses this season, maybe even this race hopefully. A bit discouraging seeing the Red Bulls topping the time-sheets in practice, hopefully the races will be better this year with more evenly matched cars. I can't believe Vettel has three titles to be honest, is he a legend already, for me not much sticks in the head with him apart from he's got the best car
Yes he was and he is joining mercedes next year lool have to admit it is pretty shocking they basically hit the development peak of the mp4-27 so they couldn't make an evolution for last years car . They decided to go with a whole new concept because they could develop it with better gains throughout the season. Mclaren are in the dark at the moment but hopefully with better understanding they can start to be competitive but that might be too late . What a mareee this team is ,so inconsistant that it really is a headache to support them . So basically Button was right saying Mercedes was faster in pre season testing, Lewis ain't looking like such an idiot now.
Tim Goss was the lead designer of the 2012 and 2013 car. But for some reason they decided to scrap having the best car in favor of having a slow but developable car. And they changed the front suspension to pull rod which seems to be causing all their problems. Presumably they will develop the car from being a long way off the Red-Bulls to closeish behind them, which will be justified by beaing the most developed car. Instead of evolving last years car and being on par with them from the off.
I see the not606 crop circle is coming along nicely Anyone think it's possible that all the top teams will qualify on mediums and leave the supersofts for the desperados?
You might need to also consider that the rules over DRS usage have changed. Last year the drivers could open it anywhere in Free Practice and Qualifying, now they're restricted to the same areas as in the race. That's going to slow down quali laps this year.
mmm i really don't get it, they seem to have made so many changes i doubt they'll be able to understand where the main problems are, and i wouldn't be surprised if the "development of the car" will probably just be gradually turning back into last years car! Why couldn't they just adapt last years car to use pull rod suspension? at least they'd better understand that one change, now they just have a trainwreck of a car where anything and everything could be wrong.
Didnt watch the 2nd practice, if you think I'm reading through the last 6 pages of your lots incoherent posts of sleep deprivation then you can do one
Jumping the gun slightly but Malaysia GP only had one DRS zone last year? I assume this year it will be the Back and Home straight?
I will be able to do the C+P for Malaysia, but not China. So I will get the next one up complete with the prediction table asap after the race this weekend. As there is no week "gap".
