    I hadn't realized it was 12 games to get to where you are now. That's a third of a season. No wonder you have injuries.

    Obviously getting concerned that you might actually win, but relying on the fact that you're a NE team and we all know what that means...

    Cheers for the well done, but I don't think we could be accused of being jammy in the Europa so far!

    Tottenham (aka Gareth Bale) have been far more jammy – should have been dumped out the last two rounds and now draw FC Basel out of the hat!
    Frankly it's luck like that which suggests they'll lift the trophy, not NUFC.

    Having seen us miss out more often than not, I honestly don't think we're inherently 'lucky' enough as a club to win cups.

    Plus, how seriously has the club really attacked the Europa? For me we've viewed it very negatively and as a hindrance.
    It seems every opportunity has been taken to accuse it of damaging our league campaign, which I don't buy for a minute.

    Oh yeah and can I just say that the general apathy that the British press has towards the Europa UNTIL English clubs reach the latter rounds and it's interest in the Champs League is over is laughable.
    Have they decided if its a total waste of time or a worthy triumph yet? Depends if a London side rather than a NE team wins it I guess.

    Sure it's a knockout where anything can happen in terms of squeeking through and going all the way but I'd rather not fail in the final to Spuds or Chelski.

    Which I'm sure is your favored scenario! :D
