    I'm very excited about Bianchi now. I thought he'd be so hamstrung in that Marussia that we'd never have any idea what he's capable of. Still, it's only FP1...

    Unsurprisingly Red Bull were the slowest on the straights, while McLaren and Mercedes were the quickest.

    <diva> I slept through 2/3 of FP1 but now I'm wide awake. Same old inane babble from Simon Cheezenby though.

    Button is so bad in that advert. You can see him checking his lines just off screen <doh>

    Remember when the said Red Bull was a second quicker than Mclaren and we were worried Red Bull would be miles ahead of everyone.

    Well the 1sec gap is true. But its just Mclaren is slow thank god!

    Maybe they're sandbagging? Then again, they made a good car last year, so in mclaren logic, this one is awful.

    Mercedes are going all out. Both Hamilton and Rosberg trying to install laps with intent. Both have moments into turn one.
    Raikkonen fastest and Vettel about to beat that. By a second.
