What is most worrying - the **** game plan or the diabolical performances by half the side? Also worrying is the apparent lack of fitness by some key players: Parker and Dembele looked laboured throughout and Holtby couldn't last 1/3 of the game without running out of puff. Naughton might have lasted better if he hadn't gone wandering all over the ****ing place, although in any sane environment he would have been subbed at half time for being ****. No celebration in that for me - and now going to worry like **** about Sunday!!
What a typically Spurs performance that was. Utterly painful. Some of the individual performances were extremely weak, with Walker's being the pick of the ****e, but Villas-Boas got this all wrong and I'll be fuming if we ever see a similar side put out. Two holding midfielders, two strikers and a high defensive line is just ****ing stupid and we saw exactly why tonight. He should hold his hands up and accept responsibility for such an embarrassing performance. The club should pick up the tab for the travelling fans too, as they deserved far, far better than that. Now we've got to pick ourselves up for the Fulham game and get a desperately needed win. Changes will have to be made and the tactics have to be the same ones that we've used prior to these two ****ty defeats.
As poor as we were, the ref gave us absolutely nothing in their last third, I lost count of how many fouls were not awarded.
I was going to give the muppet a as well DL, but couldn't summon up the enthusiasm at the time. Too mentally drained after that calamitous performance!!
As bad as you were at The Emirates, we were worse tonight. Idiotic tactics, and we just scraped through.
