I wish we were playing Lennon, BAE, Holtby, and Lloris instead of Defoe, Livermore, Naughton and Friedel.
And maybe Dawson for Gallas although I think with Lloris playing that wouldn't be quite so important.

  4. Pointless stat as both have been out for long periods in that time. Ade went to the ACN and Defoe was injured.
Not saying they shouldn't have done better, but to ignore that is just poor research.

I don't understand Benny doubters, the best LFB in the Prem. There are no Messi doubters, Ronaldo doubters, why Benny Doubters?

Livermore needs off now. Not doing anything to justify his selection, not doing his defensive job and not good enough with the ball to excuse it. Holtby on ASAP for me.

Zanetti is still class as well.

It's so simple a ball over the top and we're in trouble.

    Ade, Ade, Ade <doh>

Get Livermore off and Holtby on. The passing was good in the first half until they scored but Defoe and Ade aren't going to create chances for us which is why we need Holtby and once again the decision to start with two strikers has f'ed us as ideally we'd take one of our strikers off but we can't because we might need a goal later in this game. Walker played another wild backpass as well, he's got a deathwish that lad.

Cheers mate, congrats to you as well. I just had to look at all the 3 D scans of the neighbours friends babies. Jesus Christ, they are weird. I'd rather wait another 7 weeks. My first at the age of 54, god help me.

Was in Tottenham today though, called in the Spurs shop and bought one of those baby grow things. I hope it's right, I know nothing about babies.

They've just highlighted Dembele's attempt at covering Walker. Berbatov would've tracked back better.

I don't understand why we keep having to watch certain selections that just don't make any sense.
Redknapp did it and now Villas-Boas has made exactly the same mistakes.

Defoe and Adebayor don't work as a pairing and neither of them's fully fit or playing well, so why pick them together? Stupid.
Two holding midfielders hasn't ever worked well for us for any consistent run, yet we've seen it selected repeatedly for several seasons, which tends to coincide with a slump.

Livermore's on a booking, not playing well and his presence has pushed Parker into unfamiliar and uncomfortable positions on the pitch, so he needs to come off.
Adebayor's offering nothing at all up top and there's nobody coming through from midfield for him to lay it off to, so he needs to be removed, too.
I'd bring on Carroll and Holtby, I think, but Lennon's the better option if his fitness isn't at risk.

Really annoyed right now and very sick of seeing the same stupid mistakes made over and over.

The high line without hassling the ball is a scary sight. Though the passing's sharp, most players look jaded. Bring in Holtby for some fresh legs. Gylfi's been excellent.
