Stiff shafts

Do you play with a stiff shaft or a more bendy one?

Does having a stiff one effect performance? or does the speed of it effect how bendy it should be?

I stopped playing golf in 1998.

 

theyre all straight, just a case of whether they should be bendy and whether it effects my performance.

I have been lead to believe that stiff ones are for better players.....

 

That's because they are.

 

Not really I have 2 brothers one plays off 5 the other 9 and my dad's best was 7.I'll never get that good!

 

Irons are usually stiff but woods tend to have some flexibility.

When I'm driving one up there I go stiff especially when the hole is in view

Whats your grip like?

 

I loved it until I had to give up. Last round was a 74 on The Isle Of Arran. Shortish 18 holer but it was blowing a gale so I retired at the top basically.
