Warm Pouch my sentiments exactly. I believe you need to give a manager time to stamp his own personality, style and behaviours into a squad of players. I think we will be ok this season, maybe in for a bit of a dog fight but with the January transfer window a full season under his belt things could be very different this time next year. Mind you a year is a long time in football. Just ask any Leeds fan.

personally - i couldn't care much about MON's "style". He's a good manager and he's not wired to play one particular style - he's only continued with it because he's found success previously.

Villa weren't too bad to watch when they had Milner, Downing, Young, Barry and Agbonlahor (at his best) all marauding, and nobody would complain about playing on the counter if we finished 6th.

For me, it's entirely down to results - which haven't been good enough so far. However, I wouldn't want us to become a selling club and don't think there's anyone out there better than MON who would come to us. I'm happy to stick it out til the end of the season - hopefully we'll build and improve in Jan - still think we're only a quality CM and ST from being awesome.
