Bowen's Wiki page was updated last night (and removed now) to the following:

Jim Bowen (born Peter Williams[1] on 20 August 1937) is an English stand-up comedian and TV personality. He is best known as the host of the ITV gameshow Bullseye, which he hosted between 1981 and 1995. Bowen serves as the 266th pope, having been elected on 13 March 2013. In that role, he is both the leader of the Catholic Church and sovereign ruler of the Vatican City State. Bowen takes over the Papacy from Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious

I would have shared this with anyone who'd PM'd me last night tbh.

Apparently the new Pope wants the Falklands back for the Argies.

    Fat chance.

    Seems he's 76.
Good to see they've gone for youth again.

Not a great start mixing politics with religion and the last Pope retired because of the strain at his old age so they elect a 76 year old! <doh>

    ****ing tools! <laugh>

I don't think they care about the age when the job description reads you're supposed to do die on the job.

I'm not clued up on the whole RC Church, being a Prod, but i doubt there's a lot of Cardinals below 50 odd.

The pope is gay? Never saw that one coming. What does he hate so much?

Does anyone think I should pm Francis 1 and advise him about his bins?

It's probably the decent thing to do.

I hope the Pope keeps his political views regarding the Falklands out of his job as head of the Catholic church. A lot of people blindly follow a lot of these leaders and twist their beliefs accordingly to what their leader is saying, I wouldn't want the people of the Falkland Islands to get any grief because of the silly attitude of the Argies.
His place isn't Argentina anymore so it's business may not concern him now

You'd have to stop posting on here and you wouldn't be allowed to wear Lonsdale.

    I don't think you've thought this through.

It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to uphold my Christian beliefs.

See I have thought it through.

    Do Jews have beards?

I suppose I could always give Judaism a whirl, they allow technology and I can't see them having a problem with Lonsdale either.

    Tough call to make.
