6th round replay v Millwall, semi final place at stake.

Piss poor crowd- football really needs a wake-up call.

What do you expect with it being Live on ESPN ? Even the only goal was ****-tu.

Millwall v. Wigan FAC Semi-Final @ Wembley. Wow can hardly wait. What price a Chelsea v. Millwall final then ??

My hope is that its a Manchester City v. Wigan Final especially as Man Utd have the PL all but won. imo.

Hope the semi final attendance is piss poor as well. The sooner they put the semi's back to Old Trafford/Villa Park the better. Wembley should only ever be used for FA Cup final day.

The fact that they could not achieve over 9000 is quite worrying. I also agree with Mr orignalminority that semi-finals should not be played at wembley. That said, I'd give anything to have just one wembley FA cup day.

And you think that Wigan will take more to the final than us!? <laugh>

A Blackburn v Wigan semi would hardly have been worth the effort with 25,000 at the most! <doh>

At least they'll be an atmosphere with us there at least once this season as Wembley needs us to fill it up but it's just where the plastics disappear too afterwards that annoys us all real fans! <doh>

Plastics of both clubs will come out of the woodwork, just like ours did when we played Bristol City.

You're right they'll quickly do one straight afterwards.

Millwall took 30K, i think, when they played Scunny in the playoff final a few years ago. Fantastic for league 1.

44k as we ended up with whatever Scunny couldn't sell which is the record attendance by any club at Wembley! <ok>

Luton took slightly less for their JPT final the year they went down from League 2 with that stupid 30 point deduction! <doh>

Think we took about 35/37k against Swindon as they sold much more <ok>

It's only about 1,000 less than Southend United v Leyton Orient, Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Section Final, 2nd leg(9,421).<laugh>

Semi's should be at Villa Park/Old Trafford etc.. as Wembley should be the aim for all clubs in a major final, still its a day out and will be enjoyed and even if Millwall do win i don't think it will maych the feeling of joy as when we beat Sunderland at Old Trafford.
As for the the low crowd last night something is very wrong at Blackburn as their fans have deserted them quicker than the Italian Army during the war<cheers>
