Yes, all they have to do now is stop buggering small boys, and then covering up & lying about it. I'm sure God will then approve.
I am sure your certainly over what God thinks is comforting to him/her. We have a good guy with the keys to the Pope mobile. I think this is immensely positive for the Church. No doubt the same voices will level the same criticisms but trust me, this is a huge leap forward.
But still, by getting so coarsely tore into a group you get people who are even loosely associated with that group's back up which makes your argument seem more like a wind up rather than a point worthy of any intellectual consideration.

My response to this was a direct quote from the same poster towards a coarse tearing into/wind up by one of this forums most loved and respected posters in monegasque Gerard.... I said it to make that exact point. Very astute of you Michael. I assumed you would get it too Mr Suffrin'Spain.
I'm not sure i quite understand your point. There didn't seem to be much "intellectual" about the preceding conversation. My comment was more an observation, rather than an a wind up.
This lass came second Pope Frank reminds me of my favourite book. I think I told the very interesting story about the author on here before, so I'll spare you the details. The book is called Father Frank about a priest who doesn't believe in God. It is based on a true story.... Except the author doesn't say it.
