In the Pertemps I like the Henderson horse Top of the Range, won on Friday which got him a penalty and therefore sneaks into the race off 136 at the lower end of the handicap! Without that win I doubt he'd have got in the race and is now officially rated 138! Think this one will run a massive race

Another one who looks to be out of contention and in the grip of the Handicapper for me 7lbs higher than his best run, which was in Listed Company, much better types on show here today but good luck WF

Well after having spent the last 7 months backing boston bob to win the RSA putting myself in a position to win a life changing sum of money today was disappointing to say the least, buts thats racing i suppose. So im hoping for a little more luck on thursday! Here is my selections:

Captain Conan e/w bet to nothing.
Sam winner, who is on a ridiculous mark considering the future exploits of zarkander, grandouet and about the triumph hurdle field from 2011
Peddlers Cross, up to my bollocks in this race. His price could be made to look very stupid if he is back to his old self given that he has beaten the main protagonists in the past.

Well done on the New One stick! He certainly lived up to your faith and it's good when that happens, as I said I like him too but got sucked into the '****ing Irish hype horse' like many others did. I would fancy the New One, if he keeps improving would be a Champion Hurdle horse for next year. Ah well, I shan't complain as thanks to my lad yesterday I'm still up!

Tomorrow, like I predicted for today, looks tricky and can see big priced winners around. Only one I've chanced yet is
1.30 Marito 33-1 e/w (now shorter but was 33s with 365 at end of racing today when I backed it). Texas Jack's form looks pretty tidy now but look how close this mare got to him last day...Purely backed on value as she has no right to 3 times his price for less than a length beating. Add in the fact its Mullins / Walsh again, they can deliver at big prices too as the bumper proved. Has a squeak but Dynaste does look very classy.

Corals now back. It seems they give you a free tenner even if you win in the first race so really if you have a coral account there is no excuse not to have a tenner win single bet on the first (day of the race only).

I can confirm that if Colin Tizzard bangs out 3 winners tomorrow at Chelts I will be £3500 to the good! <rofl>

I know Boston Bob seemingly got up OK from his fall today but I thought maybe he looked injured after getting up. Hopefully I'm totally wrong on this but was there any bad news about it?

Stick do you not follow the Honeyball horses quite closey? What do you make of Ballybough Pat?? Beat African Gold, finished best of the rest behind World Hurlde bound Wonderful Charm, second in a series qualifier and 13L 3rd behind a driven out Taquin Du Seuil. To me that looks ridiculous form for a 137 horse?

We'll be on the same schedule Dex, as soon as 1 o clock comes i'm out for the day to watch the GC and hopefully bag a few winners on the closing day. Was thinking along the lines of a fry for brekkie, a good coffee and read of the paper, get a shower s**t and shave and off to the pub to get pissed :1980_boogie_down:

So tomorrow is the day I go to war with the bookies big time.

13:30 Dynaste - Just too good for this lot
14:05 Bouggler - As pointed out by stick, this has been the target
14:40 First Lieutenant - Just stays up the hill ahead of Cue Card. I wonder if the latters run at Ascot might just leave its mark. Tight call however.
15:20 Reve De Sivola - Similar to the previous race, I think RDS just gets up the hill over Oscar Whisky, the latter has never won over this distance and with the stiff finish I expect we'll see the same result as the cleeve.
16:00 Ballynagour vs Hunt Ball vs Cantlow vs Vino Griego? I've got it down to Pipe vs Webber and I'm going to play Pipe. The master of handicap plots obviously has a good one on his hands although there is no doubting that Cantlow is also well handicapped. Typical tough handicap.

He has a great chance George, still only a novice and goes on any ground. They were a shade dissapointed last time and I know that they had hoped to get Aiden Coleman to ride!

    Captain Conan
    Close House
    Cue Card (NB)
    Reve De Sivola
Vino Griego (NAP, NAP, NAP, NAP!! I don't think I can express more strongly how much I fancy this horse!! CD winning form which has been franked left, right and centre - he had Ackertac, John's Spirit and Tuesday scorer Rajdhani Express 68, 73 and 151 lengths behind!! Up 7lb for his last win which shouldn't be insurmountable considering connections have figured out which way to ride him)
    Prince Of Pirates
    Arabella Boy

Done ok so far this week but I can't make it more clear how sweet i am on Vino Griego and he will be my biggest bet since 2008!! Will also put him in doubles and a treble with Captain Conan and Cue Card. Throw in Reve De Sivola and there is my Yankee.

    Good luck all!!
