That **** lives near Nice, saw him in a pub watching the old firm game a couple of years ago, ****ing cocksucker that he is. But, I digress, the most cringeworthy song I know is Happy Birthday, sung by ****ing twats on your birthday.
There's a couple by U2 that really are truly awful: a recent one I think called Put On Your Boots and from a few years back Who's Gonna Ride Your White Horses? I was a massive fan(ny) when I was a teenager.
You'll Never Walk Alone ****s that sing it at football should have their heads roasted in a microwave, their intestines sucked out of their assholes and shoved down their throats.
****s and to think I was real cool,I was at a gig when they supported Thin LIzzy.Rose Tattoo and The Bureau on the bill as well.I did love them then and I am a holder of a very rare 12" of theirs but flucuates between â¬500 and â¬1500 and I bought it for a £1 in a second hand record shop. PS We had this before and VINYL is King,no messing but would love to meet you and ER for beer one day
I have everything they did on vinyl up to The Joshua Tree just about, UK/Irish releases that is. I expect you'd need a warehouse to store all the foreign releases. They released the early singles in 2 reissue packs one of which was on the wall in the record shop in Stevenage for £15 I think. I contemplated buying it but as a teenager in the 80s that was a bit steep. Came across the same pack on ebay going for over a grand. We should organise another Not606 curry night, Whittlesey's best for me Been for an early curry there tonight funnily enough.
I was a apprentice Fitter/Turner and got paid on a Thursday and straight into record shops and bought something without fail, bought a record every week whether new or second hand.
I just looked it up on Discogs: http://www.discogs.com/U2-4-U2-Play/master/156765 The black vinyl version is worth about £100. I recall there being various coloured vinyl versions (white, yellow, brown, others?), all rare as rocking horse hens teeth.
You may be looking at a different record but then again price may have dropped,I'm talking about a 12" called U2-Three and only 1000 of them pressed on CBS: 1.Out of Control 2.Stories for Boys 3.Boy/Girl is that what you mean?
No was just saying I could have bought the pack for £15 and it would be worth £100 now, £1k+ if coloured vinyl. This is I guess the one you own, would have been on my wants list but I only had the 7": http://www.discogs.com/U2-Three/release/1460039 You don't want to get me on to the subject of record collecting, believe me, I will bore you to death.
Yeah only a 1000 pressed and all numbered but only fluke that I bought it,but never thought about value of records when I bought them.No doubt you have Factory 12" and 7"s but when I bought them never thought anything of it but 30 years later I'm more protective of them .Fair play to you for that site and yeah would spend hours mooching about your collection
