Seriously, Arteta is meant to be an experienced player and he does that. Other than that, very good performance and we made Bayern look toothless at times. Merts and Kos for the rest of the season please, Mr Wenger.

Not really, I think we can find a much better box-box defensive midfielder than Arteta.

Cazorla-Wilshere-New top quality midfielder should be our middle 3, with Arteta, Ramsey, Diaby as back up, Arteta's very good to have in your squad, but not a constant starter, and btw, I've been feeling like this for some weeks about Arteta, today's game by him just makes me more convinced of that.

 

He was giving out yellow's like sweets. Whether this will improve our Premier league performance is another matter. We weren't expected to go through so the pressure was off us. But the pressure is on us in the league and away to fearless Swansea will be a difficult prospect. We will have to play well to beat them.

 

One thing we can conclude from this game is that Neuer is a complete and utter ****.

 

Our defence redeemed themselves tonight after gifting those goals to the spuds. Mert and Kos are our best pairing and I don't really know where that leaves Vermaelen to be honest ?

Koscielny is so solid defensively that outside of some extreme cases of him making mistakes, all people can come up with is that he doesn't play well with Vermaelen as criticism. Well F.CK THAT, you don't bench your best defender due to the shortcomings of others.

I've always liked Kosc and tonight he was solid. He does well against the best teams with some of his best Arsenal performances comming against Barca and Bayern. I think he needs to be given a run in the team ahead of verm.

 

Fabianski was very good as well, in my opinion we should keep him as number 1 for now.

 

Anyway, well done Bayern, hopefully they can make it an all german final, stop those Barca ****s winning it.
