Someone needs to tell Walcott and Rosicky that we're playing in blue today

Our defending got better as the half went on. Pressed higher up and allowed their CB's zero time on the ball, so they just had to hoof it. Just need to pick better passes in the forward areas, there has been a few times where the likes of Rosicky have not found that key pass when it was on.

Arsenal playing well at the moment. They are closing down and forcing the play and BM are playing too slow and letting us hit them. Another goal will make it interesting but we need to maintain the intensity. BM aren't really looking too hot out there and if they continue to play in this way then we have a good chance. It's a shame we have any outstanding attacking options on the bench. Diaby worth a risk?

I'm pleased with the scoreline but not really overwhelmed by the performance. I remember a time when a misplaced pass stuck out like a sore thumb, such was its rarity. These days its a frequent occurrence due to the average players we now have. Just a bit depressing, that's all.

Our defense at the back and midfield has been much better. Our closing down and intensity is what is making the difference. It's putting pressure on BM.

Hopefully we can score in the first 20 mins of the second half, that will make Munich very nervous.

The ref is a typical anti-english european ref. This season in particular the refs have been really harsh with awarding small decisions against the british teams.

So far though i'm pleased with the team. We have been given no chance in this game and at half-time we are winning 1-0 and have looked good at the back (Good call on kosc over verm). Jenkinson has been particularly solid as well.

Walcott has put in a couple of good balls and Giroud took his chance well. Cazorla is starting everything for us, covering for the lack of wilshere. Rosicky needs to up his game - he's trying really hard to make something happen but it means he is in too much of a rush, if he can settle down he will get into this game more. Ramsey has been good as well.

Hopefully we can push on and get a 2nd without Bayern scoring and then we will have a really exciting game on our hands!

(Oh and even flappy has done well so far!)

Exactly. Against Spurs, we did not press and played the high line, and it was moronic. The pressing has been much better, especially as the half went on.

Even if we win, but fail in going through, I'd say this is still a very big win for us, and hopefully the confidence push these players need to go on a good run till the end.

Jamie redknapp just said that arsenal have passed the ball really well...I have only just turned it on so haven't seen the first half...so are some gooners on here being harsh or is Jamie simply being Jamie or just being simple?

Really can't see the Ramsey hate. He's been doing what he needs to so far.

We can be a little better in posession and try not to give the ball away when we are playing it out, but otherwise i'm happy with the performance.

We have not passed it well. Only Cazorla has looked assured on the ball, it's more what we are doing off the ball that has been impressive.

most of our midfielders have been poor when passing. i remember ramsey had 3 misplaced passes in a row. rosicky has given it away quite a bit as well.

problem is, with our bench, theres no one there who could sure that up. diaby is terrible at passing, whilst coquelin's inexperience means he makes more mistakes. i would put on chambo instead of ramsey, except he's barely played recently.

Our passing hasn't been that dire, there have been too many misplaced passes though when trying to play the ball out quickly.

Ramsey has been good in this game and in his last handful of appearances - no idea why he is still getting stick, he does what is asked of him.

Ramsey's looked decent, especially in the presence of top quality BM players around him. One of our better players especially having the very good Kroos, Muller and Robben around him.

I can't hate on Rosicky as he hasn't been playing much for us at all, so is lacking match practice. If he continues to play poorly then Diaby will have to come on for either him or Ramsey to increase our attacking capabilities. Let's hope Diaby has an on day!

Top players don't make misplaced passes on such a regular basis.
