It's extremely unlikely, but their keeper could get sent off or something. It's not impossible to win there, even if you still went out, too. That's got to be better than surrendering, surely?
The fact Wenger is playing a weakened team today makes the FA cup loss to Blackburn even more galling. Why did Wenger prioritise the CL over the FA cup?
I'm not saying that surrendering is okay but people have gotta realise the size of the task. Arsenal even at full strength are not a patch on Bayern on their own ground. Its 150/1 for Arsenal to win 3-0 FFS. I don't agree with Wengers decision but I can see why he made it.
Since the team hasn't been announced this whole conversation is just a load of speculation. We have no idea what team is going to be played. We know we have at least a few first team players out through injury but that's it.
I won't. If we get battered, it just confirms what I been saying, that we generally suck. I'm one of the only ones backing Wenger in his decision to rest key players.
A little quiz. OptaJoe ‏@OptaJoe Name the game where we kept that one clean sheet? Give you five minutes.
That's why I asked "If Wenger plays a weakened Team." If a weakened team is played, he will have played weak in the CC, FA Cup, and CL, and gone out in all 3, AND STILL not be in 4th place in the League. That should seriously emphasise how weak the Squad is to even the most die-hard Wengerite.
To be fair he did play a pretty strong team against Bradford. Our best two players (Wilshere and Cazorla) played for a start.
I cant see us getting 3 goals tonight, let alone getting 3 without conceding. Couldnt believe we'd get 3 with a full strength team so no chance with a weakened team. Bye bye CL for another season.
I'm calling it now, we will go through 2night, mark this post. We're on our way, we're on our way, we're going to Wembley we're on our way.......
