Disagree lads. Zarkandar is a 2.5miler up against a great. Unionists is not a good horse. That was a terrible RSa albeit exciting to watch.

His Gold Cup horse has no chance either. He's part of the old guard nowadays. He just needs his big owners to reinvest.

Nothing wrong with Nicholls yard lads. I think you have to look at his hand this year- not quite as strong. Unioniste is only a baby and for me was always going to struggle on the better ground (Dom Alcos tend to enjoy a bit of cut), Dodging Bullets was in a red hot Supreme, and Zarkandar done for toe in a Champion again.

Hoping he might bounce back in the handicaps later today.

No way SS will lose unless he falls-and he is the best jumper I have ever seen

He will win without Geraghty getting him off the bridle.

I have just been told by a good friend that connections are very hopeful of a good run from Barbatos in the 4.00, It's not my idea of the winner as I have backed Meister Eckhart, but have now had a small each-way on Barbatos as well. I wanted to pass it on for what it's worth, but of course there will be half the field with hopeful connections in that race.

Sizing Europe is no mug would, imho, have won his last 9 chase starts if he'd been allowed to jump the last fence last year. But I think he might pay the price for trying to go with SS and as such Wishful Thinking, who will be pointed round out the back, can snatch 2nd.

He's a 2/9 shoo-in but this is still so very exciting.

Just shows what an incredible box office beast he is.

SS - Wishful thinking forecast at 10/1 with a free bet. Why not.

GGW, I've also played Wishful Thinking in the without Sprinter market.

Think Mail De Bievre could weaken out of it, Sanctuaire just should not be held up because it goes against his instinct, and Sizing Europe will not want to give Sprinter any rope, so he too could struggle to hold off a horse played late for place money like Wishful Thinking. That said though, he needs to brush up his jumping.

Best jumper I ever witnessed was a tie between The Mighty Mac and Kilkilowen.

    Anyone remember them/

    Breathtaking.
