Do we? Really?

 

We only only conceded something like 10 goals all season in the 2nd half

Last night was only the 2nd goal we have conceded in the last 10 mins

 

I was listening to the BBEB commentary last night - they backed that comment up with the following stat - if you took second half results only for this season, we'd apparently be top of the Championship....

 

Comes from having such a young squad - takes a while for them to get settled in a game.

 

That's why I think Richie Wellens still offers something to us. Is it just a coincidence we finally get a decent away performance once he is in the side. If Nigel uses Wellens correctly he could still be an asset for us

Sven used Matt Oakley very well and that's how Nigel should use Wellens

 

I think last ni9ght's game shows how much influence Lloyd Dyer can have on games. No idea why he hasn't been featuring ahead of Marshall given his overall form. Dyer was inspirational when we smashed Ipswich, and then hasn't featured heavily after that. He could be the player that provides that little bit of spark we've missed in February.

 

It said on 5live last night you'd be top if only the second half of games counted.

 

Of all the permutations last night the last I wanted as a Hull City fan was a Leicester win, but having listened to the match on the radio you clearly deserved the 3 points and the last gasp equaliser was pretty cruel to say the least.
Even with a 9 point lead I still don't feel comfortable that Leicester are no longer a potential problem to us and if you take last night's form into the play-offs then it's more important that we get an automatic spot.
For those reasons and the ones I've previously mentioned I can't wish you luck for the run-in, but your team and most of the posters on here have my respect.

 

I wouldn't worry, for us to catch you (or palace, or Watford) we would need to win at least 8 out of the last 9 games, and for some reason I cant see that happening.

Seriously though this game can be a real **** sometimes in the way it lifts you right up only to crush all your hope a few minutes later. That's something we all experience as football supporters.
