Ok, it might be a bit early for ins, but surely we all now have some grasp on outs!

    For me:

    Out:
    • David Fox
    • Elliot Ward
    • Daniel Ayala
    • James Vaughan
    • Chris Martin
    • Grant Holt (I have a feeling)
    • Marc Tierney
    • Leon Barnett
    • Elliott Bennett (again, a feeling)

    In:
    • a Left Back to be competition for first-team
    • a Defensive Midfielder
    • a Winger (two if Hughton sells Bennett)
    • a Center Back
    • a Striker or two (hopefully RvW, dependent on Holt, Kamara)

that's probably too many outs but I can see them all happening!

Some useful squad players there though if we can improve on them then it's a no brainer. Not sure I'd be keen to see Fox go though. I know he's not "fitting" now but he's a useful player that gives us a different dimension. No arguements with the "In"s. I'd like to see Kamara stick. Tettey and Johnson can fill that defensive midfielder role. Are you suggesting a new one instead of them or as support. In my mind it's the creative, attacking midfield where we're lacking. No disrepect to Wes but we're short there (and no pun intended).

Cant see Holt going myself and I wouldnt be in favour. I think we do need a new DM, that is a level above Johnson & Tettey to allow us to have a single player instead of doubling up, won't be cheap but would free up an attacking midfielder to help our goals problem. Personally wouldnt be surprised to see Bunn leaving in teh summer either.... his performances of late will have generated interest and I think we will sell on once Ruddy is back at his peak.

I agree with most of your outs and therefore most of your ins. Can't see Holt going but he does need a boost. A quality stroker is top of the shopping list.
Butterfield to make an impact is my hope for next season.

Sorry, but that typo did make me laugh! Maybe that would help performances all round?

I would ask the wife if she was interested in the position but she's unlikely to get a visa for the UK

a quality attacking midfielder who can create would be very nice. the tactics need to change too not just the personnel, as we have discussed.

can see a few going out on loan, but yes i'd expect quite a few fringe players to leave from the list you have made big hairy - that's most of the championship promo season team, plus a few Lambo additions from 20 months ago (vaughan, ayala)
also maybe Korey Smith and Tom adeyimi - not sure if they will ever push into the first team squad so it might better their careers to move on.

    Lee Camp?
    Simeon Jackson?

    it's gonna be interesting

I agree with most of the outs although I think Holty will stay - I think Jackson will be moved on as will one of the keepers ......... but which one ? I think Adeyemi will finally be sold too but we might keep Korey for the time being.

As well as a versatile DM who can also play a bit, we do need a creative ball player in midfield - someone like Lallana who can hold the ball, pass the ball and create something. We need another left back as I expect Tierney will go and obviously we need the forward line to be boosted. Another left winger to challenge Pilks is another must.

Going to be quite a summer.

fingers and toes crossed hoots and mcnasty can attract the players we want to sunny norfolk. not always an easy sell compared to clubs in bigger cities.

I'd actually forgotten Simeon which is ridiculous seeing as I spent the entirety of last season complaining about him. Yes, he will leave.

Fox is clearly not wanted under Hughton, rightly or wrongly, and so its in all our best interests if he leaves.

Beefy I don't know whether that was a direct challenge (and if it was you had better hide from the mods), but I don't want to see Holt leave, I just have a feeling that he will.

Lee Camp is out of contract and will leave, good shout.

Adeyemi, I believe, we still hold some hope for for some reason. Similar with Korey who I still think has a lot of potential. Could be touch and go for those two.

Thanks for your feedback guys, I'll try and start threads more awake in future!

Cracking shout, I guess that's why we have Butterfield. He's the reason I didn't put anything about a CAM there, also Howson is gold in that position. Lallana would be a brilliant signing but if Southampton get relegated I imagine he will go to an Everton or a Newcastle provideing Newcastle stay up)

At LB, I'm falling out of touch with Europe but Luke Shaw (Soton) and Ben Davies (Swansea) have both set their respective clubs alight this year. Again, if Southampton go down we might have a chance as Shaw turned down big clubs for first team football

If Bunn stays and Ruddy returns then I think Declan Rudd will go. He needs first team football now and Steer is the better imo.

I would add Jackson and Rudd to your list of probable outs, I don´t think he will let Holt go, just relegate him to 3rd or 4th striker, and then hope to bring in 2 top strikers, whether Kamara stays or not.

Agree with a few of the ins, but while many of them haven't been playing they are our back up. I also can't see 60% of those outs happening (if you include Jackson) anyway. It's a big disruption to the squad, even though it would allow for the squad to be improved which we want.

Don't want Fox to leave but I unfortunately think that may happen. We will make a big profit on the £75k we paid for him though! Ward and Ayala certainly seem out of the picture with our improved defence. Vaughan is certainly out of the picture with his prolonged injuries and I don't think I need to say much about Chris Martin. When Tierney has played this season he's been poor and I want to see good competition for Garrido if he signs permenantly. Barnett is one of the better back up centre backs, him along side other new defenders to compete with Turner and Bassong wouldn't be bad. Elliott Bennett is again a good back-up who can play well at times as well as Jackson. Don't know about Holt, he signed a new contract at the beginning of this season and I don't think he's ready to finish just yet.

I feel that our players out depends a lot on who we bring in. We don't need to sell to buy which is a huge advantage. This means the players out will depend on if a ridiculous sum of money was offered relative to who they are, I'm not necessarily saying for Holt, Ruddy etc.

But we also need to consider our 25 man squad. Players like Chris Martin are a waste on the wage bill and will just be loaned out every season or playing in the reserves which is a waste of time.

Can't wait for Barnett to go will make the squad better over night, bring in a Curtis Davis or the type and or CB choices would look pretty solid with Bassong Turner Bennett and an other, with Russ and Whitts capable of filling in. I liked Ayala shame about his injury problems and discipline, could be a good player
