massive is an understatement, its the biggest game since wembley I think Can see another lock out, like that Swansea game where Stu Elliot headed the winner and thousands where left outside
I disagree, it's a big game but no bigger than any of the other remaining fixtures. For that single game to be the decider both us and Watford would have to win every game remaining, that won't happen we will drop points and so will they, which means every game and every single point left is just as important. You can't under estimate the psychological advantage of winning that one, but promotion will be won and lost of the next month or so and not just on that evening.
Well If Watford fans dont want to travel in large numbers that helps Hull City. For this game i would stick them up in the corner of the west and north stands. That way we can ring almost the entire pitch with City fans. Its an important game yes but not massive. imo Watford have to go to Barnsley on saturday and then play a home game on Good Friday against Burnley before the KC match. It could well be a not quite as big a game as many think by tuesday 2nd april. TWT.
Its looking like a three horse race between us, Watford and Palace for 2nd. At the moment we're in poll position and a win against Watford would put some light between us. From all our remaining fixtures, this has to be one of the "must-wins", either to catch up with them, or pull away from them!
There are no easy games and the outcome of City V Watford will not decide anything. Let's concentrate on Forest and Udders before we think about Watford
We've got Forest and Hudders before then, we win both and there could already be daylight between us and Watford. Lets sort out Forest first. One game at a time.
Numbers shouldnt be a problem, despite the best efforts of yourselves and the FL. We have sold out 10 coaches and are likely to have many more travelling. i wouldnt be surprised if we got between 1000 and 1500 fans there.
We've got Forest this weekend and that's as big. Then so is Huddersfield. Anything can happen in this league. One step at a time boys.
I hope so. Take no notice of Tickler he talks bollocks. City haven't sold out at all this season. The home fans are as fickle as any away fans.
It's no more important than any of the other games. It seems Watford are laying on ten free coaches, so presumably that would be about 500?
Yeah, it dont help that its a tuesday night. We were expecting to sell out easily on the bank holiday monday. But it should be a good number still.
I hope so, but I seriously doubt it. Traditionally you've brought very few to our place and with it being on a Tuesday night, I'm not sure free coaches and a good run will be enough to get the numbers up that high.
Don`t think Cardiff are home and hosed yet, they are already starting to wobble, and the gap is closing all the time, they lose a couple more and all of a sudden they`re knee knocking reputation comes to the fore again. Still think its between the four of us for autmotatic.
Thats true, but the last couple of games the attendances have been up on average, as you might expect, and this should be no different. I honestly we will get over 1000 there, if not pretty damned close.
Didn't Watford get their lowest gate of the 2007/8 season against us in that Sunday lunchtime play off first leg game?
