A win tonight and 2nd place was still a possibility.I think the 2 points thrown away will end auto chance but the point gained(Brighton lost) could see you safe in play offs.Well done you!
Ive given up on 2nd 1-2 weeks ago, I'm looking at teams below us now, not above us. Forest play Hull and Palace next up so lets see what they are made of. Bolton are my concern. have 4 winnable games coming up.
We should be more worried about the other end of the pitch. With St. Ledger returning the defence should be fine Nugent hasnt scored since Wolves, Waghorn since Huddersfield (6-1) Vardy since Barnsley, Knockaert since Wolves Drinkwater only has 1 goal all season We need to be more clincal
Richie Wellens getting alot of praise from people who went, I have said his experienced especially in away games will be crucial
Same caller "I dont know why Nigel Pearson wears a tracksuit when he's well paid and can afford a suit" Charles is that you?
Didn't the same guy say "I don't know why Pearson wears a track suit when he can afford a suit!" I think it's the same guy that missed the goal against Leeds because he'd left early. The crowd were making too much noise and gave him a headache!
Good result tonight Foxes, should have won it. We are not playing well but still accumulating vital points. Wish you well in your battle after tonight? Hi-Yo!
Very unlucky you deserved to win that one.. sheep shaggers are going to crack up You can beat Watford , Palace, Forest. We will beat Cardiff , Watford , Forest. Hull City Champions You can still grab second place.
Second half was yours. We're very shaky withou Hudson. Young Ben Nugent (although promising) looks panic stricken and it's rubbing off on all our players. I can only hope that we find some form again but nobody's looking too clever up there at the moment.
I'm sure of it. We should all take it in turns to put in a prank call. It'd be a damn sight more entertaining than the moaners ringing in.
If there's a prank call on the radio someone should post what they said, then the rest can try and guess which of you it was.
... I think a win might have ... as I posted on another thread prior to the game, a draw 'stops the rot' - but realistically Nigel needed the win - I suspect the pressure is still on from the owners and the Derby game is now massive ....
Just my opinion but I said prior to the Cardiff game that a reasonable and realistic target from your next 3 games was five points. Especially when you consider one of those games was Cardiff away. If you even draw against Derby and then beat Millwall( shouldn't be that hard) I personally think the ship has been steadied and you can consolidate a play off place. Win your next two games and you could be back in the running for the auto's but that's maybe pushing it a bit too far. Twists and turns boys, twists and turns.
