Could've done without that, a Cardiff loss really would've kicked off accusations of them bottling it again.
Even better that Brighton lost at Barnsley. This means regardless of what happens in the games before our late kick off on saturday, we will still be in the top 6.
I hope that late goal doesn't stop the positivity that result should have brought, particularly with the team we played. Next few games are winnable with confidence.
Alan Young gave Sean St. Ledger man of the match. Superb from Ledge in his first game back while playing out of position
The players will be gutted, but by tomorrow Pearson will have them up again and make them realise what a good (and important) point that is and could prove to be at the end of the season. Not many would have turned a draw down if offered before the game.
You wont believe what happen to me. I woke up at 9am this morning so i was tired. At half time i fell asleep, and the radio box magically changed station to another channel. I woke up in the 92nd minute and re stationed the radio and heard we were 1-0 up, i said YES. A minute later you can guess what happen, and then the game was over. DAMN
Nigel Pearson- "We was the better side, we should have won. I pleased with the players, but we should have stopped the cross. Cardiff didnt trouble us and we out played them on their own patch. Players are distraught about the late equaliser. They showed balls to come to top of the table and play like that We will go into the next game feeling a bit better about our self and we will try and win. Disappointing just to get a point"
Looking forward to Derby now. Gutted we didn't win but not many people come away with a goal from Cardiff let alone a point.
