Even if you think that Leicester can come back in to it (I don't think we should be worried about that really, if we want to go up)... Then surely it is better to be amongst 5 going for 2 places, rather than 3 going for 1?

Sorry but lester are not a threat. 10 back back with 9 to play is not a threat. Lester have no chance at autos anymore and a cardif loss would be far and away the best thing for us. We need to stop worrying about teams 10 points behind us. If we allow teams that far back to pass us then that means we have lost just about all of our remaining games. A draw is not the ideal situation here.
Have you looked at what Leicester need to happen in order for them to finish 2nd? We need to **** up in at least 3 of our 9 games. Palace and Watford need to **** up in at least 2 of their 9 games. And that is before allowing for Leicester dropping points. If they don't go on a 10 game winning run we'd all need to **** up even more than that. EDIT: Last minute equaliser for Cardiff.

A draw isn't bad, but I would have preferred a Leicester win. They really shouldn't worry us, and if they do, then we probably shouldn't be thinking about promotion. Now if Cardiff win their game in hand, they are effectively three 3pt gains away from us. Call one of those the final game, we still need them to lose two more games than us in 9.
SO you don't think we're capable of losing 3/4 out of 9 games? you don't think palace and watford will/can lose 2/3 out of 9 games? I think it's very likely that lester will be back in the mix soon. It changes dramatically week by week.
It's been done before. Also, i never expected we'd go 3-0 down in the first 8 minutes against Bolton. I'd love it for both teams to lose but when they play each other, i don't want anyone to get maximum points. This league is a strange one.
No because Lester closing the gap would mean we dropped 7 points! That means we are not in auto spots anymore. Cardiff dropping 7 points means that we now can be in 1st or 2nd place! That is the difference. This was a fantastic result for Cardiff. Cardiff have just picked up another point, they have a game in hand and they are 4 points above us. That means we need them to drop the game in hand and then drop 2 more games. Unless Cardiff jump off the cliff they just took an auto spot.
