I'd love it if Cardiff failed to go up. I want to see Watford, Palace and Forest promoted as they are far more entertaining sides. Also, COME ON MILAN.
If they fail, management ought to spring for the exorcism. Demonic possession is the only thing that can explain Cardiff's incredible record of falling apart late in promotion campaigns.
Heh, 91st minute, just need to hold on to win, and a fullback runs the full length of the pitch to get involved in an attack.
The commentary always annoys me in Barcelona games. "First team ever to recover from a 2-0 deficit in the first leg" So what? There have been more impressive feats in this competition. I seem to remember Deportivo coming back from 4-1 down against Milan at this stage. But let's not mention that because then Barcelona wouldn't seem like the gods we're trying to portray them as.
They love Barcelona so it's what I expect. But it is annoying. Barcelona weren't that good really tonight. Milan had a complete brain freeze and threw it all away
Sounds like an epic tie between Schalke and Galatasaray. I've watched the wrong game again. Gala win.
Thank you! ITV football can be sumised as 'Barca are the bestest ever and ever and Messi is a god and a genius and lets talk about that every second of air time' We know they're great why can't they give some other interesting insight which isn't so bleeding obvious.
Barca were brilliant today but AC should really have made it through. They constantly gave it away deep in there own half. They panicked when they got forward. They needed to learn from chelsea and they probably would have made it through. But I'm glad because Barca are more entertaining to watch.
Try not to let your bias show, Joe, but I agree with you on the general point. It's very easy for everyone to dive in and talk about the brilliance of a big club team. It's an easy herd method. Be like everybody else. It's one of the things I loathe about modern media, and I don't like it when supporters fall into line like sheep.
Here's the far more impressive comeback I was talking about, if anyone fancies refreshing their memory: One of the best seasons for the Champions League if I recall. Deportivo had already taken out Juventus in the previous round, and were knocked out in the semis by Mourinho's Porto. It still amazes me that Monaco managed to defeat Real Madrid and Chelsea to get to that final. Barcelona's "incredible comeback" today is pretty tame compared to all that.
