I can see with my own eyes that things are not going well on the pitch.......... but this just confirms how sh1te we have been recently. Norwich have been tough to beat, but beat them we MUST on Satada !!
Well my effort on the BBC Predictor http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm looks like
I did it yesterday and it did exactly the same. I have the same three going down on mine but us having slightly more points
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/predictor/default.stm i have villa, southampton and reading going down
If you break the stats down, the positive is we have a home game next & we've only lost twice at home in the last 6 home games. I've been down of late, but had a good think about things, & I feel its the rise in expectation that makes this hard to bare. I think we will stay up, & oneil will get the players he missed out on in January, & we will build from there. P.S. some young south American kids scored his second 4 Barcelona, hope O'Neil's watching, could be worth a bid, the kids got prospects. Might have to work on his dribbling though.
Brian McDermott just got the old heave ho for getting 13 points from the last 10 games MoN has got 14 from the same games? Last 5 games is even more frightening. That's really eye opening? I remain a firm MoN supporter but those kinds of stats are hard to ignore tbh. There is no doubt that if these were Bruce's stats, holy hell would have broken out by now.
They were Bruces stats Cest and most were calling for his head even though he got us to 10th (still a lucky 10th in my book) however, he got another 4 months or so to really **** us over before he was finally given the heave ho. MON is on borrowed time there's no getting away from that but, I reckon ES will have the final say whether it's Sunday night or the end of the season either way he has to act and, if it is to keep MON on then back him with decent cash and a decent set up. If he does sack him he will have to do this anyway with the new manager so for me at least sort it now then we can get on with trying to stay in this league and do the laughing boys up the road (for a change). I still think MON can keep us up and take us forward however, his style of football has to change to at least entertain the fans and try to get the no shows back into the ground. Again this is nothing new to Sunderand fans old or new let's just hope we get to smile at the end of the season this time around.
interesting stat on sky earlier, no relegation threatened team who have sacked their manager in march has ever survived in the prem, and thats including us, twice!!
I still think QPR will drop and Reading too for that matter so that will bear up that stat. Southampton are far from safe and that would mean 3 changed managers would relegate their respective teams. Just who Reading think they will get to save them is beyond me tbh. Sacking MoN would be total suicide imo with 9 games to go. Absolute suicide.
I would actually love it if that happened!! There seems to be a little positivity around this morning on the board - hope that moves over to the Stadium on Saturday!
Cest - What have I missed...??? All year you've been calling everyone for even sneezing a bad word at MON and now that you've changed your mind it's ok for everyone else to question him. Why has it taken you so bloody long to see what we've all been saying for the majority of the season. MON play not to lose and because of this we are shi!te. If we actually played to win it would be so much easier. Anyway pleased that you can finally see how sh!te we've been and have started to question MON.
