If that's been the cause of his brilliant start turning into "meh" performances I will personally make it my life's goal to kick the behind of whichever physio, coach, or manager thought it a good idea to play him with an injury for five months.

Would have been better to get him healing and back to how brilliant he was than playing him at half his ability for 5 months.

Hope this means we get the awesome Allen back for 2013/14. I always thought it odd how he got worse after being the star early on.

Could explain why he's appeared to be so lightweight in the tackle for a while. Hope to see him back on form at the beginning of next season <ok>

Probably left it so long waiting for it to heal by itself. It's either got worse or hasn't improved much making surgery necessary. Surgery should always last resort unless life threatening (or in football sense - career threatening).

Decent first season for Allen. Hopefully he can now come out, get the operation and get fit for a better season, next season.

well he can go and get fit, i mean anyones got a right to go do that. I'm open minded about his form if it is injury related but did it affect his passing too? not so sure.

why did rodger put him on ahead of hendo then?

Add me to that list...he has a lot of detractors but he was fantastic early on... that kind of ability doesn't vanish... at least not without a reason... and we know the reason now.

I didnt think he had played football all season? <ok> unless you count aimlessly plodding around a pitch without doing anything...

If you like Zappa, I reckon you'll like Neil Young. Sorted my ticket for him and Crazy Horse at the Echo Arena in August <ok>
