Forest Green Rovers have signed young Bristol City striker Wes Burns on a month-long loan.

The 18-year-old will go straight into the squad for Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier clash with Southport.

The Wales Under-21 international came through City's academy set-up and made his first-team debut as a substitute against Leeds in January.

He has gone on to make three more appearances from the bench for the Championship side.

Hmmmm not sure if this is good or bad tbh. Would rather he did sign for Bristol rovers. Thought a lower half league 1 top half league 2 team would of been his best option.

Also with stead injured we now only have 2 strikers at the club.........

He's only 18, any decent standard of football will help in his development..

Forest Green are doing well and are known for playing really good passing football - good move IMHO...

Also Joe Bryan has joined Plymouth until the end of their season would be slightly embarassing if he helped them stay in the league at the expense of Rovers anyone know the results tonight?

I take it back, Looking at it this could be a very good move. He could score a hatful in that league which will boost his confidence. Also see Joe Bryan helped Plymouth keep a clean sheet last night. Looking good on the youth front <ok>
